You have some beautiful projects there, and I see some that are a lot of work, but quite a few that say quilt and bind, so I think if you alternate them, the finishes will keep you going on the other ones. Best of luck!

      Hi Susan,
I layered up five quilts yesterday and am working on the sixth that really needs to move to the top. Now if I just had a plan in mind for quilting, I’d be all set. I got nothing. Nada. Maybe I’ll find some inspiration soon! ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Roseanne, I am impressed with how organized you are! I hope you make progress on your goals throughout 2018. Don’t drive yourself crazy though. 🙂

  3. Good luck with those goals. You have some lovely projects in your line-up!

  4. Thank you so much for linking up! I hope that you have a great 2018 and that Quilting Gail’s PhD program helps you meet your goals in the year ahead. 🙂

      Hi Yvonne,
Thank YOU for the link up and encouraging me to write my goals, and give some thought to what to try to achieve in 2018. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting – I appreciate it very much. ~smile~ Roseanne

I only finished 4 of my goal of 17 UFO’s in 2017!! So, my main goal is to really get those done this year, but I have to add to the list other things that I have since started as well. How about not to start anything else new until I finish my huge list of UFO’s?? Nope, that is just not realistic on my part LOL

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Marsha,
Well, at least you got four complete! It’s better than zero. So 13 carried over from this year, and not starting anything new is not realistic at all!! So how about you aim for getting five of those 13 finished?!! ~smile~ Roseanne

All the best with these goals, very big ones! I get the appliqué one as I have one scrappy quilt with all those pieces to applique and it has kinda gone to the bottom of the pile. Watch what Pat Sloan does with the Grandma’s Garden quilting part as I can see she is going to use the method of joining the quilt I used in the QAYG, I was wondering what she would do, and now by the sound of her instructions today I can see where she is aiming.
I’ll have to consider whether I make any goals but I do have things mounting up that I have not finished!!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Kathryn,
So Pat Sloan is doing the QAYG method that you used? That is timely and so cool! I have been following along so far so will be sure to watch with great interest. As far as making goals, what do you have to lose? The worse thing that can happen is that you have to say, oh shoot, I didn’t make my goals for the year. And on the other hand you will have a list of your UFOs – some that you may have forgotten. ~smile~ Roseanne

It’s great to make goals and yours are indeed great! Good luck meeting them all in the new year!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Shannon,
That postcard quilt is right up there for me – thanks to you and your inspiration. Happy New Year to you and your family. ~smile~ Roseanne

I think you have a great goal list, wishing you luck with it! I am not making a list, I’ll fly by the seat of my pants!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Vicki,
We are totally list makers in this house! Sue thrives on them and makes them ALL the time. She was into the idea of getting these old projects out of here, except they weren’t on her list. HAHAHA ~smile~ Roseanne

  9. I’m in the process of listing out all of my UFOs. There are more than I anticipated. Haha. I think you have some good goals in mind for 2018.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Wendy,
Honestly, I completely forgot about the last three UFOs on my list. Totally out of sight and out of mind. I look forward to reading you list and encouraging you to get them in the finished column. ~smile~ Roseanne
