You’ve made good progress with your goals! Yes, I have gone back this year to using goal-setting in earnest to finish old projects, rejuvenate my social interaction, and expand my quilting skills. January has been a good month for those. I set some really ambitious goals, and succeeded very well with them. I’ll set my sights a wee bit lower for February as a bit of a break month (but still accomplishing good things), and probaby go crazy again for March with another really energetic goal set. 🙂

      Hi Lynette,
That sounds like a great idea, though. Ambitious one month, more laid back the next. You don’t want to burn yourself out! ~smile~ Roseanne

You are moving right along with meeting your goals. I needed to read this to get some inspiration and a good swift kicky reminder to head towards the sewing room.

      Hi Karen,
Well you are sweet! I have heard that January is a blah month for many, myself included. Some of those goals were fairly easy – I set myself up for success! Be kind to yourself – maybe you just need a break from sewing for a LITTLE bit. ~smile~ Roseanne

I just started following your blog. I like your goals and you seem to be making good progress in just the first month, which isn’t even over yet! I envy people who can accomplish so much in a short of time. Like you!
I’m a newbie in FMQ. I do like and enjoy it. Have you seen The Inbox Jaunt blog by Lori Kennedy. She gave me cottage to start quilting on my domestic machine. Good luck to you. I look forward to seeing your progress.

      Hi Terri,
Well welcome to our blog. I am thrilled you are here! I can honestly say I’ve never made a list of goals before – not even personal ones. Apparently I should because once I have said I’m going to do something, I pretty focus and get it done! I worked a bit with rulers last night – there is definitely a learning curve to them. I have see Lori’s blog – great stuff there, and I’ll check it out again. ~smile~ Roseanne
