  1. I always enjoy seeing your many projects. It’s so nice to know your doll quilt was received and loved! And a happy snowman ⛄️ makes me smile in any season!

The stoneware glaze is beautiful. It is hard to pick fabric when you’re not sure of the person’s style but I know whatever you chose it will be loved too. 😊

Cute little umbrella blocks – thanks for sharing them on Midweek Makers this week!
As for the color choice and style for the runner, I think you’re just going to have to ask!

  3. Lovely dilemnas to have you two. I agree with other commentors, teal would be fresh and modern and then you could be traditional with the pattern. But I’m hopeless at this so…Love snowmen and umbrellas.

So many fun projects you’ve got going! Does the bride-to-be have a registry page? Maybe it would show some towels or other items that would let you know if she leans towards modern or not. I love the color in that dish and think it would look great with most colors.

Great work! You leave me feeling inspired!!!

I tend to think no matter what you choose, they will love it! Don’t fret about being overly matchy as they won’t be able to find the dishes then!

I understand your dilemma as I have the same issue. My nephew is getting married in October. I have already agreed to making a Christmas tree skirt for that. But I have a shower at the end of June and am having trouble deciding what to do. But I would suggest a good gray marble, speckle, or a variety of grays and then some solids of many colors like teal, yellow or rasberry and add to the piecing P.S. thanks for your comment.

  8. I could see a soft, buttery yellow fabric with those dishes, or a soft turquoise/light teal. A simple star runner could go between traditional and modern, maybe? Are the wall colors neutral too?

I think a nice modern one would work, maybe use the Jenna pattern you showed the other day and just do one row across?

I’ve found with tshirt quilts that there is so much going on with all the shirts that a basic meander is nice and doesn’t distract from everything.

  11. Hi Roseanne, the snowman runners are too cute! How about a color block runner for your nephew – background neutral and the blocks(bricks) in colors to match their decor.

Morning Roseanne…..a friend made a table runner using HRT and hand died fabric in a gradation of blues. I’ve asked her for a picture. Linda
