  1. This wall hanging is totally adorable. Congratulations!!! I had a little granddaughter on Dec 26, just a few days before Addison was born. My girl, Cameron was 9#2oz and 22 inches long. Both were big girls!

  2. Just adorable! I love this idea and it really is so sweet. I love that it is reflective of her quilt too – so appropriate.

I always planned to do announcements for my two and it didn’t work out. Gave up before the grands came. Now I just love them to pieces in person. Beautiful job. And congratulations to all.

Hello Roseanne, That has to be the cutest birth announcement I have ever seen! Sue, your hand embroidery stitches are so beautifully done!! I very seldom attempt letters because mine do not look natural, yours just look so perfect. I wish that we lived close by and I could ask you to teach me your method. Thank you both for sharing all of your talents with us, I know that I always enjoy your projects and especially just the love that comes across so freely! Have a fantastic day!

Congrats on the safe arrival of Addison Brooke! I hope Mom and bae are both doing well. January 4th is an auspicious birthdate. My daughter and eldest was born on January 4th and we have just celebrated her 35th birthday. How fun for you and Sue to work together so closely on projects. What a lovely combination – the giraffe quilt and birth announcement.
