I was all set to make some CIL blocks, until I saw they colors. I have almost no yellow! I have some gold, but that’s as close as I usually get to yellow. I will have to stop in at the quilt shop next weekend and see what I can find.

  4. This makes me rethink this week’s PQ challenge because I did make a large quilt in a week already and I do not think I can do another one especially since I haven’t even started, although my mind has gotten a great idea… Meals on wheels often likes quilted placemats so your post has given me an idea to maybe make a couple of those to donate. Doll quilts are a fantastic idea too!

It is a challenge to do a quilt in a week no matter the size! You have a right to change you mind and heart! I’m sure that whatever you come up with will be fine. You have to enjoy it!

  7. I am so impressed with what you get done! You will be having a busy weekend working with fabric. I was trying to not let anything sidetrack me from my goals, but I did get two emails for testing some patterns! Teaching tomorrow so I’ll be burning the midnight oil to get my Project Quilting Challenge project finished. It’s getting closer!
