I Love Thursday #100 Small Blessings
This is the 100th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Fall flowers! I love the colors of Fall in whichever form they show themselves. Here are some flowers that are in our backyard. They have been showing their colors for weeks now, a blazing beauty just waiting for me to take a picture. I was out grilling and had to snap a quick shot. Gorgeous!
Love #2
Back porch rockers! Our back porch is nice and peaceful. We picked up some new rockers at Sam’s Club earlier in the summer. Some days it is so nice to just sit and rock for a bit, listening to the birds and watching the hummingbirds visit the feeder.
Love #3
Red, green peppers! I wanted to share a photo of our green peppers. They turn red when you leave them on the vine long enough. They also turn sweeter like the red peppers are. I learned that once by accident one year and now we often leave a few peppers on the vine to let them redden.
Love #4
Walking Auntie Rose! Dominic and/or Addison has been visiting and taking Auntie Rose for a walk. Andrea has been over a bit more, studying for her last semester of nursing school. One of the littles come along and usually end up walking Auntie Rose around the neighborhood. Sweet boy held my hand, and we took the stroller along just-in-case. He was in it before we returned home.
Love #5
Dominic got to take a wagon ride with GG but had to wait a moment while it was determined if a jacket was needed or not. Then, while visiting our house he pulled out his chair and sat in it. Hmm, is it time for some Goldfish?! I’ll drive the cart, Dominic said at Farm and Fleet. Sometimes mom brings only one child over for a visit while studying. When they return back home it’s time to reunite like they missed each other for days! Momma has to hear all about what she missed, so Addi informs her quite cutely after pulling herself up on the table. A musical elephant is quite charming and amusing, Addi says. And finally, our sweet girl turned 8 months already. How is that possible?!!

Just when I thought the hummingbirds were gone for the summer, I saw one today. Or maybe it was just passing through. Goldfish! Now that brings back memories. Whatever would a mom or grandma or auntie do without goldfish? Enjoy the rest of your week!
Happy 100th! I’m enjoying the first fall flowers and colors also. LOVE your litte guys!
Such sweet faces! I can see why they are your loves!!
Loads of lovely likes, Roseanne. Having a little one walk you around the block is my favourite. And what a blessing you two are to them to be able to help out like that. But I know you are like me and it is a win/win situation for all. Those flowers are gorgeous and veranda sitting is restorative, imo.
Gaillardias, red rockers, red peppers and holding hands with kids…what more could one ask for?
😎
How can you be at 100 ILT posts already?!? The time flies by. Love the flowers and the peppers. The rockers look so comfy. Perfect for a porch.
Beautiful pics. I enjoy reading your like posts. They make me pause to appreciate the little things.
The flowers are fabulous what are the round ones? Love your rockers. LOL when my two oldest grandsons get home from school they sit there and visit for hours it is almost like they have been apart for years instead of just a few hours. They have always been like that since they were little.
Hello Roseanne, I enjoyed your “relaxed” post filled with love of all you shared! It was wonderful to read and look at all of your photos. Thank you so much for sharing and have a spectacular day!
Red rockers are cool. I like your flowers, too!
Such sweet likes this morning. Those babies just make me melt! LOL at Dom in his wagon and dear Addi is so darling and pretty!
I just had some flowers planted that look like yours – they are gorgeous. The chairs do look so inviting. I made the mistake of getting chairs. That need pillows, and while comfortable, putting them in and out is a giant pain – I love the way yours look. And those kids – so darn adorable. Funny about peppers – hubby loves green, I love red but I thought for may years they were different varies. Now about the orange and yellow ones….
Oh, those chairs look comfy, and of course, seeing the littles is a highlight! I didn’t get my post written 🙁 yet – maybe I’ll get one done yet this morning. We’ll see.
Hi Roseanne– love your fall flowers — I miss having flowers around – I’m so jealous ♥♥ The rockers in the back look comfy, we started to get those also but hubby wanted the anti-gravity chair to nap in 🙂 As always I look forward to Thursday to see what’s new with Addison & Dominic!
I look forward to your Thursday posts to catch up on the littles;) I am jealous of your peppers, ours didn’t even produce one pepper. Bad year for gardening over here. Very little cucumbers and that is really sad.
So good some Thursday to just sit and let the snaps of the little ones cycle for a bit…reminds you there’s a lot of wonderful in this world! Thanks yet again for the pick me up!
