Wonderful post, Roseanne. If only racism would just stop; how much better off the whole world would be.
Beautiful photo and I can’t get over how Colt is growing!

Looks like GG had a very happy lap full. It’s been encouraging to see all the corporate statements and support against racism. Fingers crossed that there is enough momentum to make some lasting changes.

Awe Sesame street has always been fabulous. I remember they had so many people of different races when I watched growing up, and my kids and grand kids too. Great pics of the kiddos and gg.

What a lapful of kids! Excellent! Sesame Street has always rocked. It’s nice to see they continue to do so.

  13. That is a lovely picture of GG with the 3 littles in a loving lap! How wonderful! I am so sad about this week and the continued loss of life, disrespect and injustice towards our brothers and sisters of all races/creeds/gender/etc. Enough!

  14. Hi Roseanne and Sue. Thank you for the post today. Reading it and seeing GG with those littles is just what I needed today. 💕 Carol

  15. Thank you for your message, Roseanne. Hugs. It is very important to acknowledge that black men and women have always faced racism in this country. I hope this is a turning point and this very raw moment in our history leads to more equitable times ahead.

  16. Huge heart-tugger post and photo
    hugs all around!

  17. Love Sesame Street … always so true and easy to understand!
It warms my heart that GG was able to hold all 3 kids! I LOVE that relationships can be more physical!

Thank you Roseanne. Your message is wonderful and most needed. It saddens me and hurts my heart to see the violence and hatred all because of skin color, ethnicity, place of birth, sexual orientation, etc. Stay safe.

Hello Roseanne, I love and support your message! Not only is racism such a horrible issue in our world but we also need to remember how people react to the way someone wears their hair and is classified or by where they live in a community (POOR WHITE TRASH). Like you and your special message…Stand up to Racism…it is what I want to do from this day forward and pray that I have the strength to face it head on in a positive way!
I love seeing the babies all surrounded in the loving arms of their GG! A perfect message sent all the way! Thank you, dear friend, for standing strong and leading and sharing!

  20. Cocoa Quilts says:

Thanks Roseanne for sharing! We can all learn from the basic of Sesame Street! GG looks like she is enjoying.

  21. Helen Glover says:

Good thoughts but what about those who choose this opportunity to steal, kill and destroy. They need to be stopped and punished! Many, many innocent people’s lives have been ruined due to their criminality. Thanks for letting me vent!

  22. lapaylor says:

Wonderful quote from Sesame street… teaching our kids for decades how to live together. Shouldn’t humans be past something like shade of skin color by now??? Imagine what we could achieve if we focused on learning and discovery instead of hate!
I love you and those kids, and your attitude toward putting belief into action. LeeAnna

  23. Carol S. says:

Sweet and uplifting post. Thank you for your Thursday loves! XO

looks like GG had her hands full!
I too can not believe that racism is still going on it our world today – back in the 60’s we thought we had helped put an end to it and of course that wasn’t true and then each generation since think they have helped put an end to it and still it doesn’t end – when will it ever end – it is mind boggling to see the hatred out there in the world and to think that some people still do not seem to realize they can not get away with this in the time of a cell phone camera in everyone’s hands – why did those police officers think they needed to be so cruel and violent – how many times did they do this before and not get caught I wonder

  25. Thanks for your message, Roseanne! I’m trying to listen and learn, too. Lucky GG to have all the kiddos in her lap at once!

  26. Connie says:

How wonderful to see the three together with GG! That is one beautiful armful of love! Thank you for the positive message and picture to make my week! We watch from across the northern border and are horrified by what we see happening to good people by those who abuse power…we too have our share of abuse, but this is an incredible example that has to stop in this day and age. So unbelievably sad and painful…
