  1. I completely agree with your stance on the traffic cone situation. What is it with littles and naps? The 21 year old has recently noted she’s not sure why she fought taking naps when she was little, she enjoys a good nap these days.

So happy to get my weekly fix of the kiddos! Your meme about traffic made me LOL!!! Happy Birthday Dom!!! Have a safe and happy week!

Tony has an issue about your #2..he just hates people who butt in line. I’m easygoing about such things. Dominics bed looks like Robbie’s…no room for a kid.
    They’re all so precious.

  4. First I just have to tell you how happy I was to see snoopy. His joyful facade makes me giggle. I totally agree about your thoughts on birthday cake. Years ago my sister made a comment about eating the cake and it always stuck with me. Now her comment is so pertinent. And last but not least I can totally relate to the construction barrel scenario. I would have to admit that may have had those thoughts a time or two. Thanks for sharing.

ROFL the blowing out the candle and traffic cones…I really relate to that one! Napping, makes me laugh how hard they fight it. I got to the point, you don’t have to nap, but you have to be on your bed, no toys, only a book or two. Surprisingly they would fall asleep. I used to explain that sometimes mommy/grandma needed some down time too to recharge. Great pics of the kiddos, including cutie patootie Colt. Going down hill is the best!

So true about blowing out the candles! Times are surely different now! The traffic cones made me laugh! It’s always so nice to see the kids. They’re so cute!

  7. Sally says:

Ha! Rob never ate cake that had candles blown out. Even before all this! The barrels meme is pretty funny, too.

  8. I get you with the traffic cones!!! Isn’t it amazing how some people seem to NOT see the signs like most of the people? And they are often the ones that have non working indicator lights! 🙂
The littles … so cute … so sweet! Love them! 🙂

lol on the traffic cones… amen! and there are people who act like they are willing to hit your car to get in… It pays to drive pretty close to the barrels…OMG I put candles on Dh’s cake, then thought, maybe they should go on his piece so they did. I actually remembered all the parties I’ve gone to where people blew all over the cake before we ate it… ewww… goes along with drinking out of the hose outside, and riding without seatbelts in an open station wagon.

My DH has a response for the cone zone cutters and the ones that pass just to get to the light and have to wait……if they are in such a hurry to get to the other end of their life, just let ‘me go! That usually calms me down!
Can’t get enough of your littles, I miss ours so much!

I smiled the whole way through this post. Saw the birthday cake meme several days ago and smiled then. Love the cones. Don’t know what it is about those drivers who can’t just merge at the time the sign shows up!! And the littles…always a fantastic ending to a great post. Colt is getting so big. I understand the nap issue. Not much of a napper myself, but sometimes I find myself dozing off in front of the computer!!

  12. Your littles are the cutest, Roseanne! I think Colt has the best smile, Dominic has the best idea for “nap” time, and Addi the best palm tree pigtail. I’m with you on the merging in cone zones – so frustrating if you are (as we are) a rule follower! Happy Thursday!

  13. We are supposed to learn the zipper merge here in MN, but some never learn. I have given over to just letting them in and then muttering. It helps my BP stay a bit lower, most days. Love the birthday cake meme, but the littles are the stars of the post!

  14. Pat says:

Hi, Roseanne, I laughed out load over the cake saying. We will be adding this to the “remember the days” old timers stuff on social media. Thanks for the beautiful smiles of the beautiful kids. {{social distance hugs}} … 🙂 Pat

  15. That birthday cake meme is hilarious and I totally related to the traffic cones meme. Bad drivers definitely increase my blood pressure! Great photos of the special littles in your lives. Have a great day, Mary.

Those littles are so cute and are getting so big! Enjoy the moments!

So true about the blowing out the candle on the cake! We got into a lane in the Cities with the fifth wheel(think very long!) we didn’t know the closed part was before our exit, some really nice guy with a truck motioned(yes motioned) for us to get in front of him so we could get off! We really appreciated that. But I hear you on those that do it on purpose.

  18. Barbara Esposito, @TheQuiltedB says:

That lane closing post cracked me up. I am with you! Apparently here in Texas they call learning to merge learning to “zipper”. I think EVERYONE should get that picture in their heads and then all this “waiting till the very end because I may get one car ahead of you but cause a massive backup but I don’t care it’s all about me” issue would be non-existent. Or maybe not, but the visual is a good one, don’t you think? And those littles get cuter (and bigger!) every week. Thanks for sharing all the goodness!

  19. Happy Thursday! I look forward to reports as to how the Bday party changed this year. I am sure you will find a way for him to blow out some candles (in a bucket filled with sand)? Love the do Addison is sporting and sleeping babies are my favorite, especially in your arms. Bug lady here after 5 weeks of trying.

  20. Connie says:

Made me laugh with the traffic cones first thing in the morning…I let them in, then fume for miles. Thank you for the littles fix…so cute and growing so quickly…what a joy to have near all the time!
