I Love Thursday #146 – Abounding Blessings
This is the 146th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Birthday party gatherings . . . the way they used to be. Those were good times, huh?! It will be interesting to see how Dominic’s birthday party will be this year. He enjoyed the heck out of last year’s gathering but this one will be a little bit different, I suspect.
Traffic barrels! Oh yeah, don’t even mess with me when it comes to the “lane closed ahead” barrels. I’ll get in line, swear under my breath at the cutter-cutters, and nearly die before I let one of the cutters merge in front of me. It must be the driving in Illinois on a regular basis coming out in me . . .
Baby Colt is such a happy boy especially when he’s in his bouncy seat. And those legs are strong, let me tell you! Reluctantly, he does nap now and then and he looks like a little angel while doing so. We are lucky enough to see him most Sunday mornings! ♥ ♥
Just a few pictures of our two bigger littles this week! Dominic is also reluctant to take a nap. He moves just a few of his toys with him at nap time like all of his blocks, Mr. Hooper’s store, a few stuffed Elmo friends, and his fire truck and a book. I’m not quite sure how there’s room for him to sleep in there!
Addison has her own sleep issues whenever she gets in a swing. That motion, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth is so relaxing . . . you know? She also received her own bike helmet this week so there will be no arguing over who can wear one. We want those babies safe!
Finally, Addison had to go for her 18-month checkup. She’s 33.5″ and 20.8# – skinny mini! Auntie Sue saved her and brought her some juice for her trouble. She had to donate blood (boo!) so we have a bandaid on her finger plus she’s the first one to ride in OUR new car seat. Addi is even facing forward – a new experience for her! That pony palm tree just cracks me up. LOVE!
Okay – one more because running downhill is big-time F.U.N. We love these littles!
