I Love Thursday #23 – Bring It On!
This is our 23rd post of loves for the week. Here we are, into month of March already. We post these loves each Thursday along LeeAnna on blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several of our friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out!
Love #1
I Can Only Imagine – the song is being made into a movie. I had no idea the story behind this song until I saw the trailer for the movie. I might have to go see this movie. The song itself can bring me to tears on any given day. It’s in theaters on March 16th, if you are interested.
Love #2
PT is behind me now . . . a distant memory. I have to continue the stretching but the therapy has been successful. I have some tools in my arsenal to use should this return, but I sure hope it does not.
Love #3
Late Spring snow! We have been enjoying weather in the 40s until some snow arrived Monday night in to Tuesday. It is so pretty to see all the brown grass and fields covered again with a lovely little blanket of white. Another nice thing is that snow this late in the Spring doesn’t usually hang around long. Of course, we have received snow in early May some years so we are not out of the woods yet!
Love #4
Saturday mornings spent with Dominic John. ~smile~ Is there anything better than a little sweetheart popping over while dad works and mom goes to the gym? I would have to say NOPE. Now that he’s a big boy, he can sit up fairly well by himself. Oh the changes we’ll see over the next few weeks and months. It is hard to wrap my head around how much he/we have grown and changed since his birth. Here’s Mr. Tigger, playing with the fringe on his blanket and then smiling cutely for his photo op.
I had planned on sharing a different set of photos until his mom sent these Tigger shots. OMG! We love this baby! ~smile~
That’s it for this week! I hope your week is filled with many blessings. Happy Thursday! Roseanne, I’m so glad your PT is over and that it was successful! Woohoo! I hope you never need it again. I agree that snow is pretty but I’m am DONE with it. 😊 Love the T Double Grrrr photos. The outfit and Dominic are adorable! 😊
Hi Cindy,
SO over snow! I had to drive home last night in a mini-blizzard in Illinois only to get home to sunshine. Weird weather but at least we’re not getting that nor’eastern. I hope all those people are safe. ~smile~ Roseanne
Me too! I’m bet they can’t wait for this winter season to end! 😊
He is so precious! What a clever outfit. I’ll keep that movie in mind for later this month. May your blessings continue.
Hello,
Thank you so much for the blessing wishes. I wish the same for you as well. ~smile~ Roseanne
Yay PT is done. Hope you feel much better. I agree the snow with just the flurries isn’t too bad. I would like a wee bit warmer temperatures though.
Hi Colette!
Well, if you are putting in an order I would would agree with a wee bit of warmer temperatures. But it won’t be long and they’ll be here to stay! ~smile~ Roseanne
So glad the PT went well! And Dominic is just adorable! I loved Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger as a kid!
Hi Shannon,
Thanks so much – I’m glad to have PT behind me with just exercises to keep doing. And our little Tigger – we get to enjoy him again tomorrow morning. ~smile~ Roseanne
Dominic’s outfit! So adorable and so is he! Hugs!
Aww, thanks so much! I just couldn’t help myself – I had to share those photos! ~smile~ Roseanne
What a cute little Tigger he makes! Love that outfit! These March snows make everything start to green up – I love that about them, too.
Hi Diann,
I have been meaning to see if our bulbs are coming up – I suspect they are since they get nice sunshine when it is out. Our little Tigger is visiting again Saturday morning – I can’t wait. ~smile~ Roseanne
What a sweetie! I can see why you are crazy for him.
Aww, thanks Chris! We do love him to pieces. ~smile~ Roseanne
Thank you for your “I love Thursday” posts … they are a reminder to me … to look at the many blessings in my life!
Your little tigger has looks very cute!
Hi Gail,
Aww, thanks so much! I was just thinking those posts aren’t very quilting related most of the time, but it does give me a place (and reason) to share Dominic pictures. He is such a big part of our lives – thankfully. ~smile~ Roseanne
I need to hear that song too. We have a fresh 2 cm of snow this morning but as you say, it won’t last long…hopefully. And that little dose of Dominic is so appreciated by me this morning. What is it about babies that make us smile.
Hi Jocelyn,
I don’t know but you can almost imagine him babbling while trying to get those fringe pieces to his mouth. Everything goes into his mouth! He is such a joy to all of us. ~smile~ Roseanne
gotta go listen to that song… never heard it.
Hi LeeAnna,
It’s a great song – can move me right to tears some (most) times when I hear it. ~smile~ Roseanne
I chortled at those photos of Mr. Tigger. Those can brighten anyone’s day!
Good Morning,
I agree – they made me really smile. If he only knew about the tail behind him – there would have really been some funny photos. ~smile~ Roseanne
Your little tigger is just too cute! What a fun outfit for the little guy. Glad your PT is done; mine has just started.
Hi Wendy,
Thanks so much – he didn’t know about the little tail or he would have been trying to reach that instead of playing with the fringe! What are you having PT for? I hope it goes well and quickly. ~smile~ Roseanne
