I Love Thursday #46
This is our 46th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Wedding pedicure! We had to get our toes ready for this week’s fun. Can you guess which color belongs to Sue and to Roseanne?? Tonight is the rehearsal and dinner for William & Nicole’s wedding. Sue is doing a reading during the ceremony so we are attending tonight’s festivities. Tomorrow is the wedding at 4:00 p.m. (CST). If you think of it, send us good weather wishes as it is being held outside. Of course blessings for the new couple would be more than welcome as well. I hope to share some photos next week. ~smile~
Friends who like yard work! We had this little bed on the edge of our yard that had been completely neglected. We basically forgot about it! Our friend, Darlene, is someone who likes to work in the yard. She took this little bed under her wing and added some gaillardias amongst the lilies, with strict instructions to keep them watered. So, we’ve been watering them as has God – several days of rain. Look how nice they look!
Birthday celebrations! We took Sue’s nephew out for dinner last night for his birthday. He turned 30 and I can remember so clearly when he was born. I found that I still cannot chew anything on the temporary crown side so it may not have been the best choice to go to a steakhouse. But we did have fun and it is nice to be able to see him alone, one-on-one (or really two-on-one). For his birthday he is enjoying a Cubs game against the Brewers.
Another slide show this week because I can’t help myself. Dominic loves spending time with GG, and they babysit each week. We popped over so I could get a DJ fix and Elmo was on TV. We couldn’t interrupt Elmo for either GG or Dominic! The second photo is his friendly visit one afternoon when I got home from work. Come play with my bus and people, Auntie Rose! Then it’s walking time with his friend the lion – he can really motor with that. And finally, Dad wanted to play with his house (a.k.a. add air to the house that was wilting) so Dominic had to sit inside. Can’t say he isn’t amenable to whatever toy you’d like to play with!
That’s it for this week! We hope your week is filled with many blessings. Happy Thursday!
