  1. I too think you deserve such lovely and loving little tributes. You are always unfailingly kind and supportive in your comments that you leave regularly around blogland. Karma! Meanwhile, what a little doll handing out candy to the other kids. Pants on head…yes, so it starts.LOL

Cutest Ninja Turtle EVER! Love that quilt pattern too. As for boasting…we are all friends here and friends cheer each other on and celebrate blessings! I love to live by Romans 12:15 – “Rejoice with them that do rejoice and weep with them that weep.” So glad we can rejoice together this week, sweet friend!

Enjoyed reading your post! Congrats on your wins, very happy for you and glad you shared all the cool things for us to see. Enjoyed the “end of the world” minute 😉 And what a cute Ninja turtle helper you had there. Pants hats and wearing only one mitten are very “in” fashion, I think. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

Not bragging, things that make you happy! Do you love the mat? I love Dominick’s costume. Boys, pants on head. Just saying it seems to be in their genetic make up. Also nothing exists above their eyeballs. Including their head.

  6. You have definitely had a wonderful week of love and surprises. I love the idea of a new cutting mat.

  7. Sally says:

Oh, that mat looks lovely – that’s a great size! The Rows-O-Rama is a pretty pattern. And yay for the cute wall hanging. What a banner week you’ve had!

What a wonderful list of “loves”. And that Row-orama quilt be beautiful in blue/white. 🙂 Your bragging rights were well deserved… so not really bragging at all 😉 Blessings!

I have two smaller mats next to each other on my table, oh I think I need a large one instead, must go looking for a good deal! You are blessed, but you are also a blessing to so many, don’t apologize for any of that!

  10. Just like everyone else who is commenting – we’re happy for you and you are not bragging! It’s fun to win a prize now and then – such a good surprise, isn’t it?! That mat looks amazing and I’m sure will be put to good use. I like that quilt pattern, too. I love that you knew right away who you would make it for! Cute Dominic – of course pants go on your head! 🙂

Oh my friend we share in your bounty and are happy for you! I hope your streak continues! That is one good looking mat. I can’t believe Sue put holes in one… how? I tried to cut one once to fit my cutting table, and the darn thing kept healing itself! Leeanna

It never occurred to me you were bragging. It isn’t in your nature. =) I loved seeing the wonderful things you won (and it reminded me … where’s my mat??? I ordered it about the same time you ordered yours, maybe even a day or two earlier. I must check on it!) That quilt pattern is pretty amazing, and that will be a wonderful gift for your sister. 2019 is filling up already. =) But the PhD is on track!

Love the Dominic pictures. Love that you are learning to be specific already. LOL It makes it easier later. Pants on the head. Yep starts early. I saw the same syndrome in an almost-2 year old yesterday. And the laughter is always contagious, isn’t it? Thanks for the dose of Dominic!

How wonderful to have a week of great surprises!! That mat is fantastic and a friend who sends surprises like that is so special. I love that pattern and the photos of the boy. I did not think you were bragging…just sharing your stories of luck and love. Keep on sharing!!

I love reading your posts as they are always so upbeat that I end up smiling the rest of the day. I also won a 50% off coupon for a Calibre Mat so I ordered the largest size also. I had to have it shipped to my daughter in Texas as we were leaving ND soon and I didn’t want it sitting at my front door for months. It arrived a day before we got to her house and I was shocked to see how large it was and then I worried whether it would fit on my kitchen island where I do all the cutting at my AZ house. I shouldn’t have; the island was even bigger than I remembered. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet as housecleaning has taken precedence but it’s on my agenda to do so in a day or two.

I also won that 50% coupon and bought the same mat – so wonderful!!! Being blessed in any way and sharing those blessing with us here on the blog is definitely not bragging. The gift is amazing and something quilters probably do more often than we know, but it is always totally cool. The quilt pattern you won is awesome – just think of all the pieced borders you could create with all the patterns going on here! Definitely a keeper of a pattern, for sure.

Got a great ‘love’ for every day of the week – keep it up!

Hello Roseanne, I was tearing up while reading about your special gift. It truly is a special place in “blog land” where we meet great people who become our dear friends and we do this type of wonderful giving straight from the heart. I would never think you were bragging, but being delighted about winning some fabulous prizes! Oh yes, I love to hear about these special parts of your life also. Plus, is it not so magnificent that they happen when we or someone close really needs them! I am truly excited and happy for you and your new pattern is going to be so fun to make. I look forward to seeing it next year! Little Dominic is absolutely adorable in his costume! He looks like he was having fun handing out candy. Wearing the pants on his head and your statement made me think of the pre-teenage years and the stuff that I have seen with family myself. You are in for a whole lot of craziness and more crazy fun!! Thank you for sharing everything! Have a great day!

  18. Shannon Fleming says:

Sounds to me like you have a lot of favor and are greatly blessed! Have a great day!

  19. Vicki in MN says:

Oh lucky you getting the new mat!! Congrats on your wins-not bragging at all, we are happy for you! Aha now I know your secret-you are always so positive and upbeat!!!

  20. A new mat, you will enjoy that! Mine is beginning to get old, and I just got it not too long ago. So much cutting and its starting to get grooves (not the good kind – ha!). You had some nice wins; good reason to celebrate!

  21. That mat looks wonderful – I need a larger mat! Happy to see Dominic a day early..leaving later today to see my kids and Ms. Evelyn! Happy Wednesday 🙂
