January went out with a bang weather wise and it’s not slowing down in February. Love the snowman from feet, that’s too cute. Hopefully with school out you got in some good stitching time.

  2. So many things to love!! Those icebergs are pretty, but they look ominous as well. Aren’t we grateful for warm houses and cars❤️. Little Dominic and his sister are the very cutest!!

Dominic with his sister is so cute! I love those footprints. My sister made some like that she turned into ghosts for halloween cards and I love getting them out every fall!

Aw Dom loves his sissy!!! I love the footprint snowmen, they are great! I’m so glad you are past that terrible cold. Let’s hope you don’t get anymore this season! Hugs!

The footprints are adorable! As is the picture of the “hug” – thank you for making my week! The polar vortex is taking over here and we are at minus 40 Celsius every day with wind chill. No break till next week at some point…nothing bites through your physical being like wind chill sigh…but the picture warmed me up, thank you!

  6. Cuteness overload!💕 I love the snowmen footprints!
Brrrr, I get chilly looking at the photos though they are amazing scenes. Thankfully just temporary! Wishing you warmer weather this month:)

Roseanne – how I have missed the I Like Thursday crew! Especially little Dominic and now Addison too … such an adorable card for you to receive from the kiddos! We have winter weather advisories and storm watches in place for this weekend – snow and wind chills. Father Winter is sure making up for the mild December that we had!

HipHip Hooray for weekly pics! Addi is getting so big and I just adore that Dominic loves her so much! And that footprint picture may attest to the fact that their love for you two will never melt but let me tell you, it melted my heart! So grateful to be able to share all this goodness with you!

  10. Those snowmen footprints are really cute! Brrr for all that ice and cold!

  11. Colette says:

Great pics. Oh Addison is a sweetie, you just want to snuggle her and smell her. Dominick too, and the feet print snowmen are awesome. My daughter did finger pint snowmen on a Christmas ornament one year. Oh you were much colder than me, and I was complaining about -35….you are my hero! Great likes as always.

  12. Brrrr …. your pictures made ME cold!!! Glad we got to see another pic of Dominic and Allison! Dominic got big all of a sudden! And yes, they have a very talented momma!
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

I had to cover my lavender last night due to freezing temps. So unusual for February here in the desert. You have an adorable Valentines card!

  14. Rochelle Summers says:

We woke on Monday to only 2″ of the promised 8″. But wait!! By 1:30 PM the promised 8″ had arrived…and then some! It was a teacher training day but they got sent home, too. A Tuesday was a “Snow Day”. But at least we didn’t have the widn chills you did. Love all those loves…especially the pictures of the babies and the snowmen. Brrr to the iceberg and trees. Hopefully February will got out like a lamb and March won’t be as bad as usual.

Hello Roseanne, It is always a wonderful feeling to contribute to the food drives. Since my daughter was in school, she is over 30 now, my Mom and I began contributing and still do. Your special message from the kiddos is such a delight and one of those you will want forever. Such a special kind of hug also! Glad that you did share all of these special things going on! I hope that you continue to have a spectacular day!

  16. Oh very sweet indeed! And your little footprint picture too. Yes, clever mommy.
Wow, that is cold…I think that must have been the polar vortex. We have had lost school days too due to cold but the last one was freezing rain which we have had a lot of. Can’t blame the buses for not going out in that. Yes, good bye January, I’ll second that!

  17. Stay warm! Spring is on the way. :o)

Such a cute footprint card! Glad you are staying warm (this weather is almost too much and we aren’t even getting quite as much of the cold). Love the photo of Lake Michigan, been saying I wanted to see Lake Superior (we visited last year) with the ice but it’s nice to see a different great lake as well. Hooray for a new picture and for sweet big brother hugs! We’re all going to be so happy to see spring aren’t we? Hope you have have a wonderful Thursday and rest of the weekend.

  19. The children are so sweet! I have never heard of ice leaves..kind of cool, especially if you are viewing them from inside a warm house.

  20. The school I taught at participated in a food drive like that every year in December. Like you, I was always happy to participate! Love the footprint snowmen! We woke up to -4 this morning – I was tempted to complain and then I thought about you guys and decided I could handle it! Hope you’re warming up!

I was afraid that Dominic would be 18-years-old before we saw another picture of him! Thanks for the picture 🙂 Adorble footprint card. Glad you survived the polar vortex — very cold here too. I’m glad January is in the rearview mirror!

  22. Good morning Roseanne! I love the footprints — how cute 🙂 the picture of Dominic and Addison is super cute — what a good big brother he is! Stay Warm ♥♥

  23. Well, February isn’t doing too well on the weather front so far. We have snasty weather here today. Freezing drizzle on the roads with snow in the forecast. Glad I don’t have a morning commute, and equally glad my husband wisely chose to stay up in the Cities so he could get to work today without the drive. Coming home may not be any fun if the snow comes, though. Ah well. I’m gonna finish my coffee, have breakfast, and quilt. Woohoo!
