May OMG Spiral Quilting Project
Honestly, May really snuck up on us this year. Sue would be HAPPY to tell you that she only has 27 days of school left. She also has some personal days and comp time to use up (or lose it) within those 27 days. Woot woot! It’s good to be Sue, huh?!! For me, things really start amping up at work. You can feel the tension and excitement in the air – it’s almost summertime! So, picking a May OMG project just kind of fell through the cracks. What to do, what to do?
May Day Thoughts
I believe I say that same thing at the beginning of many months – what to do, what to do?! This isn’t rocket science – just pick something and write about it. The world doesn’t stop revolving if we don’t meet a goal either! There are SO many options though – pick something hard that will be a stretch to finish or something too easy that it’s finished by the first weekend. Hmmm. Stretch it is . . .
May OMG Project Is . . .
For our May OMG project, we are going to complete the Rainy Day quilt top. I’ll be getting my spiral on after a long delay from November 2018. Poor thing – all layered and pinned, just pining away for me to give it some attention.
Y’all probably can’t remember anything about this project – me either. Here’s a little close up of the quilt top and the backing we chose. Thirty-five spirals plus whatever the heck I do in the borders. And only 30 days or so to do it – sure, I can do it. Right?! We’ll be posting this goal on Patty’s Elm Street Quilts link up
Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
