  1. This is so gorgeous. There is so much movement in this quilt – it cracks and sparkles!!! I am sure your quilting will make it more spectacular!!!

  2. I love it! and sorry i’m that person that you are missing blocks >_< i'm going to try to get them out soon… i need to find my christmas fabric in some of my boxes still!

  3. Oh, this is very pretty!
Isn’t it the way – that extra’s arrive after the fact? Hopefully, a couple more arrive so that you can make one more row.
The alternative is that you make 2 more blocks – oh horror! did I just suggest that? what in the world am I thinking????
At any rate, it will be a lovely quilt with or without the extra row!
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

Roseanne, I’ve been waiting to see this one together. Of course you get a few stragglers. They could be pillows or go into the backing!! Or just make a few more and make that baby bigger!! Love it, that is my favorite block.

  5. An amazing pieced piece.
FYI: I agree with Barbara E. – use the two orphan blocks for a pillow.

Looks great – Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.

Looks fantastic and I love a smaller quilt, they are so good for getting under and keeping warm if that’s what you want. I am not much of a person for putting quilts on walls. Those colours are perfect for Christmas. Is it cold your way already?

  8. This is a pretty quilt no matter the size. I hope more blocks arrive. I love the OMG to get motivated and see other people’s projects.

  9. Of course they arrived today! I love it and glad you persisted getting it together!

  10. Colette says:

Love the Ripples. I kind of saw that in the bee I belonged to. At the end of the year people were very slow sending in their blocks.

Very pretty! Orphans would make a good table runner, too!

Hello Roseanne, The Ripples quilt top is gorgeous! I do hope that you do receive more of the blocks from the people who signed up to make the blocks. So glad that you met another one of your goals. Look forward to seeing this quilt all quilted! Have a spectacular day!

Maybe that is why I don’t join in the online swaps-things don’t arrive! I know life can get in the way sometimes, but it would be ideal for everyone that commits follows through. Anyway I love your flimsy!

  14. It looks wonderful! I do hope that 2 more blocks arrive soon so it can be a little bigger. But a 48” x 48” quilt can look good on a sofa or loveseat. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.

  15. How disappointing to not get all the blocks from your beemates, but boy is this quilt ever pretty with all that movement! Glad you snuck in some sewing time in lieu of the food coma. I hope to sew today without having to go anywhere while the snow flies here.

  16. OH if only….. I love your quilt! Going to be so pretty!

  17. Janice Snell says:

Congrats! Don’t you love the extra push/focus the OMG provides. I love it!

  18. Barbara Esposito, The Quilted B says:

It really is gorgeous. If two more do not arrive, use those two orphans for a pillow!
