Regatta Quilt Sew Along Update #2
I thought you might enjoy a second update on the Regatta Quilt sew along. This is a no-pressure sew along with no prizes and no real end date. A gorgeous quilt when it is all complete, and we’ve had a few more folks join in. The original pattern is from Daniela at Block M Quilts. Just click on the picture of the quilt directions in the link and you’ll be able to print out a .pdf. Here are the two colorways that Daniela has chosen for her quilts, and what originally inspired me to make my own:
Below, I’ve shared a few new photos that our participants have shared on their blog, Facebook, or Instagram. I apologize if I missed your update – I tried stalking everyone’s website and IG to find them all. Don’t you love seeing such diversity? Some have a quilt top together, and one even has two – Shannon, you overachiever you. Can you pick a favorite? Or are you like me and love them all?

Our Regatta Update:
Good thing this is a no-rush, no-stress sew along!! I must have known I would be challenged in January to actually DO anything. Section A, a.k.a. the first six strips are together. They have been for over a week . . . no further . . . but who cares, right?!
Not only that, but I’m too lazy to take a new photo because it’s so long and hard to get into a shot. You can use your imagination and pretend the photo above is all sewn together. And in the correct order since Sue numbered them for me; otherwise it would have been row 1, row 3 and row 2. Oops avoided!
Any questions, please leave them in the comments. Be sure to check on the various participants websites, on our Facebook page, or on Instagram using #regattaquilt. If you aren’t able to use one of those methods I will be glad to share any updates for you! Don’t forget to use the hashtag on Instagram to flag your posts or we can’t see your progress! Let’s have some fun making a pretty quilt or two! That’s all for this update. I will check in with you again sometime soon. I don’t want to be a nag (ask anyone who knows me – I am GREAT at nagging!) when there is a no-pressure timeframe. ~smile~
P.S. Not one photo of Dominic in this post! HAHAHAHA ~smile~ Roseanne
