Love that umbrella block! How on earth are you going to applique the pole part? And how on earth did it get to be April already??

Nice backing for the quilt. So looking forward to seeing Dumbo finished. Cute Spring table runner.

I love that Concrete print for the Harley shirt quilt. That is going to be perfect! And the orange shirt in there will be a perfect accent too. Yay for meeting all your goals!

  5. Hi Roseanne, I LOVE your Dr. S backing! Perfect! And yup, it’s time to get that spring table runner done! It’s sew cute! You don’t want it hanging around in the fall! 🙂
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

  6. Those t-shirt quilts are always interesting. One thing to do is group by size and then work from there. Sometimes I have seen rows of same size blocks and a lattice inbetween. Others get more jumbled – and if I were to do it, I might use graph paper cut to size with #s for each shirt and then lay them out…. I hate figuring this stuff out!! Good luck with it.

I also made a T shirt quilt-only one ever and it was for our son. He had wolves, bears etc on his shirts always growing up. I made it just like Wendy described! He loved it and I was pretty proud of it too.

  8. When I made a t-shirt quilt years ago, I had several different block sizes. I laid them out, then figured out where I needed filler fabric. I ordered a fabric that coordinated (it was a tie-dyed pattern) and added that in. It worked out beautifully. Just a thought in case you run into that.

  9. Hi Roseanne, the Harley Davidson t-shirt quilt sounds like fun! Another quilting friend who was one of my kids high school teacher made Stevie a t shirt quilt using his football shirts from high school through his NFL career. It turned out nicely! I love the Dr Suess backing fabric!
