Wonderful progress in so many different directions! That puzzle quilt really requires attention. I’m not sure my wandering mind could do that! =) The ABC quilt looks fabulous. I think how nice it would be to have another quilter partnering on projects. Trimming HSTs and Flying Geese can both be tedious, but it gives my mind more wandering time. LOL

      Hi Susan,
Sue and I do make a great team. She cuts, I sew, we both trim, she hand quilts, I machine quilt. ~smile~ Roseanne

Yay for getting your quilting started on the Regatta quilt! I do like those wavy lines! I will be watching for what you choose to do in the white rows. 😉

      Hi Dawn,
That wasn’t quite the wavy line I had in mind . . . but oh well. I wasn’t going to rip it out either! Sue think I should use the ruler wave/ripple but I think it’s too big so we’ll see. ~smile~ Roseanne

I love it when you share your projects, and it never feels ad nauseam to me! Yay for getting the ABC wall hanging off of your design wall. I’d imagine your wall is already being filled up with another project! I chuckled at thinking of all the pieces of the jigsaw blocks… I wouldn’t want to know the total either other than knowing it’s A LOT. hahaha! I love the way the Postcard from Sweden quilt looks, but I’ve not started it simply because I hate trimming up HSTs. It’s the one thing about quilting that I dislike the most! But I know that quilt will be worth it all that trimming in the end! Yay for even getting a bit extra done this past week too! I can’t wait to see the finished quilting on the Regatta quilt!

      Hi Christine,
You are too sweet! Yes, that trimming of HSTs is tiring after a while but I’m doing it in small batches. Row by row basically. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. Roseanne, I always like hearing about your projects. Don’t ever worry that you are talking about them ad nauseam. How else can I keep track of what you are doing if you don’t share all the tidbits! I don’t envy you and all those HST. You have my sympathies. 🙂

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Cindy,
At least they are big HSTs with plenty to trim off. Occasionally I slip of the first side trimming so I still have enough to do it again and get it right. They look so darn pretty when they are all trimmed up, awaiting their turn to be sewn with their surrounding mates. ~smile~ Roseanne

      • I can totally relate to slipping rulers. Why don’t they learn to behave? They are so much like children. Always pushing the boundaries! I just love to see neatly trimmed blocks all stacked. Their combined appearance is so pleasing. 🙂

  5. I find trimming HSTs calming, which cracks me up as I usually am too impatient for such tasks. But I love to see those perfectly trimmed blocks stack up! Have fun working on your To Do list!

      Hi Beth,
I do love seeing those perfectly trimmed blocks but I have trouble with my ruler slipping. That makes me tense! ~smile~ Roseanne

I thought that was a short list for you, LOL BUT then I thought that just means you will have time to work on those items more;) And then I look at the new list-you go girl!! My mental list is pretty long this week, I have to finish up some items and get them off my plate.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Vicki,
I like being busy, and I have going to be so busy at work that I need the sewing stress relief with a long list! Good luck with your mental list this week. I expect great posts with the results. ~smile~ Roseanne
