Your Monday list is much more reasonable than mine, and you manage to do it most of the time, so maybe I should rethink my list. LOL How wonderful that you made the string blocks! I don’t know about that collection, but From My Carolina Home has challenged everyone to get together with their quilt friends and make quilts – about 1200 are needed in the Carolinas! That is a lot of devastation and lost homes. And not the only place. String blocks are a great idea for the quilts.

  2. Congratulations on meeting your October goal! Good for you doing the string blocks — I love string blocks wish I had known about the donation effort I would have loved to participate. Happy Tuesday!

Hello Roseanne, Since I have began to follow your blog you have been such a positive influence! I am just thrilled that you are meeting all of your goals once again. I am so hopeful that by the end of today, I will be able to post pictures of the quilt I have been working on for about a year. On and off at first, but full force for who knows…LOL. You have been such a help in finishing it, I just want you to know that. I am off to sew on bindings. Great job for your achievements! Have a fabulous day!

I just love that cozy quilt, and YAY for a completed goal!! You are right about quilters being a generous group; every time I see a block drive, blocks come in from all over the world! I love that about this community.

You will get those goals accomplished no problem! Fingers crossed!

  6. That looks like a comfy spot by Lake Michigan. I hope you snuggled under that lovely quilt a bit more when you were finished binding it.
