To-Do #52+31 Weekly Recap Update
To-Do for the week of November 5th through 11th:
- Pumpkin blog hop – √ done
- Buttonhole George on Baby Girl’s quilt – √ done
- FMQ a few more small plus signs – √ done
To-Do #1Last week Thursday we participated in the Pick A Pumpkin blog hop. I hope you were able to join us and check out some of the other participants. We have a free pattern for our Pumpkin Harvest Blessings Door Hanging, in case you missed it. I channeled several friends (Vicki and Sandra!) and added some freehand leaves and vines. Although it doesn’t look like it, green thread was used.
To-Do #2The appliqué process has just started with George the Giraffe. Since the leaves were finished last week, we determined that we made enough. We’ll see! George and his tree need to be buttonholed first, so here we go. George is all pinned on the gray background so I started working Saturday morning.
To-Do #3Plus Playtime is over one-third done, because row one is all quilted. I’d better get going! There is only 18 more days until the end of the month. EEK!
November OMGWe chose to finish Luke’s Plus Playtime as our November OMG. It is great that one half of the small plus signs are quilted now. Woohoo!
To-Do November 12th through 18th:The week before Thanksgiving – how is this month going by so quickly?!
- Keep plugging away on quilting Plus Playtime
- Finish appliquéing the tree for Baby Girl – maybe add some leaves
- Figure out how to mark Rainy Day stencils
