I love that purple batik fabric! So glad you could use the first fabric chosen too! I can’t wait to see what the quilter does with this one. Thank you so much for linking up!!

Hi Christine! It was just a fluke that the batik matched, I think. It’s a week today . . . so maybe next Friday or Saturday we’ll get a call. XX – fingers crossed. ~smile~

Your purple quilt is gorgeous, but that JJ quilt is amazing! I was drawn to it and couldn’t stop looking at it! So pretty!

    • Roseanne says:

Hi Patricia! Thanks for the nice compliments – you are so sweet. The JJ quilt is coming together so easily . . . much better than that darn purple one (which has been named the quilt from H). The worst part is all the lint from the jelly roll – I am covered after sewing a few strips together! HAHA I ‘plan’ to work on it quite a bit this weekend: if that pans out remains to be seen. ~smile~ Roseanne

Such pretty fabrics and colors in those quilts! Thanks for sharing on Midweek Makers

Thank you so much Susan! I love these link websharing – I love seeing what others are working on. It’s so inspiring for me and motivating too. ~smile~ Roseanne

That is a beautiful batik to border the purple woven quilt top! Hope you show a picture of the quilting when you get it back from the long-armer!

    • Roseanne says:

Hi Sharon! Thank you for your comment. We really weren’t sure about that border . . . I wanted the quilt bigger but wasn’t sure if I loved that batik. Phew – it feels good to hear someone else say it looks good. ~smile~ I will certainly share a bunch of pictures when we get it back. I hope it looks fabulous! I’ll just have to add the binding (my favorite part). ~smile~ Roseanne
