Virtual Cookies … me, too! I completely understand your love of that red. I would love it, too. Any idea whose line it is? Lots of great sewing at your house last week … and more of the same for this week, I know!

  2. Great finishes (and ‘starts’!)

Hello Roseanne, As I was looking at the pictures of Fionna and her 3 Big Brothers, I could not help but think and laugh at all the picking on she is going to have to put up with. Yet, at the same time, those 3 brothers are going to stand up and defend her for the remainder of her life also! I hope you keep us updated. Looking forward to seeing the Llama wall hanging all finished also! LOL…I can not find the bag I was working on, we had company staying on and off this summer due to Kevin having some surgeries. I set it aside and can not find it now. I do love the fabric you used for your bag!! The lady that receives this beautiful bag is going to be so thrilled!! I do look forward to hearing the details, but the final outcome is fantastic! I agree with your choice for the BOM fabric choices. They are so lovely together! I know I have made this block before myself, it is a fun block to make. You have me wanting to make a Christmas Quilt with this block. LOL. As though I do not already have enough going on! LOL. Keep us informed on if you do decide to make a whole quilt, I may just join you. I know you could do another one of your sew alongs….boy, my mind is just filled with ideas today! Ha, Ha, Ha….is Sue glaring at me while you are reading this while talking about this is a good idea kind of event. I know she is and you are giggling out loud by now and is she shaking her head at you telling you you have to many projects going on already and she is shaking her finger at me and at you! I am almost rolling on the floor laughing now and my husband just asked me what kind of trouble am I getting into! Seriously…how do they know these things? I will stop causing problems and go on now. Your Ripples Quilt is going to be so AWESOME! I bet you are really excited to get the remaining blocks and get the quilt top all sewn together. I am really looking forward to seeing it! I had to think about my abundance of solid fabrics that I have and it seems that I just do not use them very often. Yet, like you, I have found some beautiful quilts made using only solids. I wonder what it is that makes one quilter love them and another quilter not? Just a thought. I also always smile at the way in which you and Sue keep your fantastic system running so smoothly. Helping one another to achieve is a goal we should all try and reach. Sorry that I let my thoughts ramble on today. I just felt like chatting. I enjoy your posts and always pray that you achieve all of your goals! Have a great day! Waving at you from a sunny and some what warm day of around 65 here in Southern Oregon!!!

What fun for you two! Such cute projects, and baby! with her adoring brothers! The doggy doesn’t look like a new little life in the family is a good idea tho! Quilt testing and with Geo Pops! Looks like a good combination.

  6. I’m joining in on the Virtual Cookie Exchange blog hop, too! Definitely have to get the project going! We’re headed to visit my mom today, so I don’t have a To-Do post – back next week! Have a great day, Roseanne!

  10. You tantalized us with some great projects. I’ll wait to comment more until your full reveals! Thanks for the shout out regarding my love of solids. Even my print stash is full of blender fabrics which I’ve heard described as “near solids.” Have a great day, Mary.

Congrats on checking off all your “to dos” from your list. Good luck with this week’s list. I’m going to give the weekly list making a go. I typically don’t do well with lists, but I need some focus if I’m going to finish off a few things before the end of the year.
