I love how different your two projects are; both of them are fabulous. I was struck by how much your Ripples quilt reminds me of the Birds in the Air project I’m working on right now — from a distance it looks like the same block and layout with different proportions to that one triangle that would be much larger if it was a Birds In the Air block — so then I had to follow your link to look at the Ripples block and it was so cool to see how completely different the block construction is. You have a lot on your plate, especially if you’re hosting a New Year’s Eve party. I may or may not be hosting a raucous choir party at my house a week from Saturday, and I’m looking around the house and constantly noticing spots that haven’t been cleaned in a decade, things my dog chewed up or scratched up and no one noticed… I’m thinking of a nice candlelit bash so no one can see that my dust bunnies are more like drifting tumbleweeds in an old Western movie…

Hello Roseanne, Have a wonderful month doing whatever you desire! I know I am looking forward to seeing both of these quilts all finished. The bright fabrics in the monthly block quilt is what I really like about that quilt, plus, some of the blocks I have never done. Your Ripples quilt is fantastic and so glad that you did get two more blocks! It is a splendid size now and you will have so many fond memories pulling it out year after year from now on! Have a blast decorating! I have not even thought about it yet. Have a fantastic day!!

  7. Looking Good Roseanne! I posted today for the To Do Tuesay! YEA! Hugs

Both will be beautiful quilts, Roseanne. Yes, time to get the village set up to enjoy as long as possible. They are a favourite of mine.

  12. A good list of projects for the week, Roseanne! I need to finish my final block for Jen’s BOM. I’m excitedly thinking about how to lay them out, sashing, etc. If I go with black, I think I even have the fabric in my stash (squeee)!

I will try to be on my A game and finish something so I can party with you!!! It sounds like it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at your house! Maybe I should come there instead of dragging all my stuff out 🙂
