I love your dark blue batik baby quilt. You’ve got excellent contrast with those deep, dark, saturated navy fabrics, making it much more striking than many of the single color quilts I’ve seen. You’re going to hand quilt and bind the whole thing by May 31st, AND you have other goals between now and then?! I don’t know if I’ll even manage to make my BED between now and May 31st. Just kidding. Or maybe not… Quarantine is getting to me!! 😉

  2. You did well last week…lets hope for a good week this one!

  3. Love the wonky blocks, and I’m intrigued with how you attached the binding on the hexie quilt which turned out wonderfully. It will be fun to follow your posts on the latest t-shirt quilt.

Looks like great progress on your to-do list! Love how you did the hexie baby quilt!. And the charm quilt is going to be adorable.
My daughter got word that her fall semester of college will be online. She will go to the campus 2X every other week for labs. So many changes in our future.

  5. 3 homeruns – good for you!

Hi Roseanne – I love how the hexagon quilt turned out – perfect pattern! And I just can’t wait to see the dark blue quilt finished. I just love how the colors worked out in this quilt. Funny if anyone asks me what my favorite color is I NEVER say blue but it’s the color I have the most of in my stash – go figure! Hope your week is sew wonderful!

  8. Yay for quilt finishes! Smart binding trick.
My son’s college (Creighton) is talking about starting earlier, skipping fall break and then being done by the end of November–which I think sounds awesome! He’s really missing the actual classes so I sure hope they are up and running. Sounds like my other son will head back up to West Point in a month or so. They could easily quarantine that entire campus since it’s a military base but I’m not sure what the fall plan is. (I would REALLY miss our fall visit though! It’s gorgeous up there!!).
    Good job on your to-do’s!

I have been eyeing my scraps and thinking on another hexi quilt. It wont be the tiny hexies the last quilt was. Yours look like a good size. I love the wonky ABC blocks and the baby quilt and I look forward to seeing their finish. Thank you for the linky party, its still raining, I haven’t forgotten you.

What a great job you did with last week’s goals. I’m cheering you on for this week! Cute wonks ya got there! 🤣

  14. I’m glad you have the wonky blocks to work on along with the t-shirt quilt. If you’re like me, you’ll need a break from the t-shirts, and the wonky blocks will be just the thing. You’e had a good week, with a couple of nice finishes!

  15. Vicki in MN says:

Looks like your week was pretty productive! Your wonky blocks will be so fun-you should whip that one out in no time. And your Tshirt one should go pretty fast if all the blocks are all prepared.

  16. Kate Swallows says:

Congrats on all the progress with last week’s to do list and good luck with this week’s. The SIT is doing all on line classes this summer. So far looks like they’ll do back to campus in the fall.

  17. Mickie says:

What great projects! Love your binding method! I’ve never made a t-shirt quilt but I hear they can be challenging! That baby quilt just sings!!! Have a great day!

  18. You did well with your “TO DO” list!
I really really like your tip of how you added the binding! That’s pretty slick!
    Happy Quilting! 🙂
