I saw your hst quilt on istagram and thought it lovely. Your weeks are always busy, it is good to have that organised list

  2. I really like the quote about half the list crossed off describes contentment. I agree.

Your half rectangle baby quilt is a delight!

  3. Sharon says:

We heard fireworks for days before the 4th and until midnight on the 4th. Couldn’t see them b/c of trees. City canceled the annual display. Have fun with that HRT quilt!

  4. Brenda @ Songbird Designs says:

Your 4th sounds like ours – nice and quiet – well…except for the fireworks! We went to bed and turned on not one but two fans to drown out the noise. Lovely white noise!! LOL Love your pink and green block!

I’m so glad you provided the link to Melva’s Pieces of the Past QAL! I had found it, lost it and now, found it again!
You are so productive! Yes, our neighbors enjoyed their fireworks as well! It was a long night for our little poodle.
Take good care and thank you for sharing and hosting!

  7. Your EQ8 mock-up of the baby quilt looks great. Quilt math is just exhausting to me. I’d much rather somebody else figure out all the math!

That baby quilt will be so elegant! Good luck on your weekly list. I know you can do it.

  9. Rochelle Summers says:

You really are productive and you put a check mark next to all of the to do’s! I like where that baby quilt is going and can’t wait to see it with the actual fabric. Your friendship star is wonderful. I like the bright pink and I could tell that was dark green. As for fireworks, they were cancelled all over the west. Though illegal, some neighbors apparently bought some and I could hear them (and sometimes see them) until 11:30. Hope you find a way to stay cool during the hot days of July.

  10. Denise says:

Oh it is hot here too. Not so much hot as is the humidity, today with the heat index 100. So thankful I work from home and do not have to climb in a hot car on an asphalt parking lot. Thank you for the linky party.

  11. Cocoa Quilts says:

I am watching this baby quilt. Can hardly wait to hear your tips and what to watch out for on these HRTs.

  12. Vicki in MN says:

When tracing your Salem Witches project what do you use to trace-regular pencil or what? I am glad you got to enjoy your neighbors fireworks. We hear some around here but mostly can’t see anything because of tall trees. Our town canceled the fireworks but we drove 20 miles to see a small towns fireworks. They were pretty and so was all the individual ones that went off.

  13. karenfae says:

we didn’t see any fireworks here – too many trees and we didn’t drive anywhere as we knew the parking lot selected for the somewhat local (10 miles away) would be too crowded. the baby quilt is a good design

  14. Mickie says:

Oh I love that rectangle quilt! The colors are so soothing. I’m wondering are the half rectangles difficult to make? Been looking at them lately but not sure I want to tackle it right now. Anyway. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

  15. You have really been getting things done lately! I like the design for the baby quilt. That’s a fun twist on the friendship block too. We had a quiet 4th as well; didn’t even bother to go see any fireworks (heard them though).

  16. Your design and color choices are going to make a great quilt for the baby, Roseanne! Which way did you decide to cut the HRTs? Glad you had a nice 4th! Your neighborhood sounds like ours, and like many others I’ve heard about, too.

  17. Kate Swallows says:

Love the baby quilt design and your color palette for it. Congrats on a completed list from last week, good luck with this week’s list.

  18. Oh you had a good week last week. This week has 3 great goals. Looking forward to seeing the progress on Iris Ann’s quilt and the Salem Witches as you know is my favourite to see your progress. Fun times
