I see you are staying busy with good things! Love the truck quilt, of course!

  2. Susan says:

As usual, you are just humming along! Seems like we have a never ending stream of projects to do.

  3. I love how Dominic’s quilt is coming along. I’m curious how big your kitchen island is. It seems really useful for basting.

  4. My, that bag sure gets around!!!! HA!
BTW: finished the wall hanging those scraps came from! Will be posting about it over the next few days/in the coming week.
I think we’re all okay with the wp update thingy…geesh. I hate mandatory updates…
    🙁

Crosshatching! The way to go! (I’ve done a few quilts recently that way myself.) Love how you are saving the 2 1/2″ HST cut from the geese. Those are a good size. Nice job on the tote too. You popped up in my feed, so no problems.

Great progress on the quilting…love the tote
    bags…have a great day!

  7. Hi Roseanne,
    Your post looks just fine!
I think the crosshatch quilting will be just fine … nice and easy!
I just noticed your linky button! How long have you had it? OK .. don’t answer that, it just will show me how un-observant I am!!! 🙂
    Thanks for hosting “TO DO”
    Happy Quilting! 🙂

  8. That truck quilt is so stinkin’ cute!

Great week! Started the quilting on the big boy quilt and got everything else done, too. Wondering how you normally do FG. Are you glad to be back to work even though you have to be up before the chickens? Like those little reminders not to forget something…hopefully keeps it from being a UFO.

post looks ok. hope you don’t run into problems later. love the quilt and the bags

  11. Yay for over-achieving! Before I got my LA, I would put folding tables together for layering. (Before that, crawled around on the floor–ack!). The tote is cute; I have some to make but just haven’t made it to the store for the straps. And omgosh yes I save potential-HST trimmings when there is a lot. Some rainy day I’m going to make some neat stuff. LOL!

HIs quilt is going to be perfect, it would thrill any little guy. Looks like you have a pretty easy list this week, even I alone could finish it. Hope you two take advantage and do something fun. Thank you for the linky party.

  13. Looks like it posted just fine. I like your truck quilt… very cute. EEEK sorry you have to get up so early for work, said the night owl! Hope all your goals are met this week.

  14. You had a great week getting things done; good luck with this week. Good thing about the note to self, you probably won’t forget.

  15. Congratulations on getting D’s quilt basted and quilting started, Roseanne! That’s always a big step. Your blog post seems to have worked just fine, too! And you’re back at work now – hope all goes smoothly!

  16. I saw the post in my inbox last night, but didn’t look at it. No worries, it looks just fine. How great to have that table for basting; relieves the back and knees from all that floor work! Little D is going to love that quilt! You made good progress this week! Thanks again for hosting the linky!

  17. Mickie McLaughlin says:

Read it easy peasy! Word must be working now! Love Dom’s quilt and love your bags you made! They are great! Have a safe and happy day!

  18. Looks like the post went off without a hitch. Blogger has changed it’s default templates for setting up a post. I’m mostly OK with that expect that keep tweaking the changes so you never know what’s going to work or not work the next time you write a post. Hopefully WordPress will be one change and done. Congrats on all the progress with last week’s list. Looking forward to seeing your new project develop. Happy stitching this week.
