  1. You did well last week – and I am a little late to the party but hope you are progressing on this week’s goals!

  2. Hi Roseanne, good luck with your quilting. I’m looking forward to seeing your funky flowers. Take care.

  3. Yep, in front of my face is what I have to do as well to remember things. I also leave things by the door so I have to walk over them. Sometimes I also have to take things to my car so I don’t forget to take them as well.

Hello Roseanne, Your Red, White and Blue table runner project is lovely. I can not wait to see it completed. Of course, you have me very interested in your Flower Power table runner also. I am excited to see where these shapes are going to lead. The wavy lines does look like a fun way to quilt, I watched a short video on one of the video on the new Craftsy that I have been watching. I have a baby quilt that I am working on that would be fun to try it on. Thank you for sharing all of these wonderful projects that you and Sue are doing such a great job on creating! It is always inspiring to see what you are accomplishing!

Just a small update, our evacuation level has been lifted. Yet, they remain in place all over in Oregon and still in the towns devested not far from us. The predicted weather forecast from now through the weekend is another bout of high winds, lightening, dry conditions for most of Oregon with a few possible showers. So we may go right back into evacuation notice. We continue to pray for everyone in all of the states facing what we are! The smoke covering us is horrible, until late yesterday evening we could not even see but about 10 feet in front of our home. We can now see for maybe about a third of a mile. We have not seen the sun since last week, it feels about 50 degrees here, when it still should be at least 80. I just thought you would like an update.

Thank you again for sharing and have a fantastic day!

Ooh, I love your RWB star runner and the Flower Power as well!

  10. Denise says:

Oh you got this months goals.

  11. I think I discovered the organic wavy lines quilting idea from a previous post of yours a few years back – you used it on your Regatta Quilt pattern I think? Anyway what I love about it is the fact that it is something that is done with the walking foot – and thus for myself seems more controllable than an all-out FMQ ‘pattern’.
Great choice for those Wonky Wonks, Roseanne!

  12. Oh the time lost on Pinterest! I agree tho–the single direction of lines looks great.

  13. Always a fan of Red white and blue – but Flower Power looks fun!! HEres to a good week!

  14. Vicki in MN says:

Flower Power- are you following a pattern or making this up as you go? Anxious to see the finished project. Wavy lines are the in thing in quilting, and if you only do it in one direction you’ll be done faster!!

  15. I’m a big fan of organic wavy lines, especially since it is something that is currently in my quilting repertoire! Your flower power project looks like fun, and the red/white/blue runner is looking wonderful. Have a great day, Mary.

  16. I can’t wait to see the whole of the Flower Power blocks too…lived through that time, imagine that! And I love that organic style of quilting. Lovely post, Roseanne.
