I’ll have to set a date to have this done by otherwise it will just sit there and so close to a finish! One more roundup in summer – thanks for the nudge!

  2. Roseanne, They all look wonderful. I think yours looks very nice with the wavy quilting. Mine is now finished. The reveal will be posted in April. 😊

Wow! Look at all of those terrific Regatta quilts – great eye candy!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Susan,
I know, right?! Lots of inspiration there in both the color and fabric selections as well as quilting options. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. Oh dear, and I still haven’t started mine. Don’t give up on me though, I will do it, it’s too lovely a pattern not to.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Kate,
I would never give up on you! There is no deadline, remember?! You are good to go – you’ll finish it when it works for you. ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh dear.. I am so behind.. so slow on this slow sew a long! I have the jelly roll, now need to cut out the white strips, but I am too busy travelling… I will be the last one finished I think… but lovely inspiration, thanks for sharing!! xx

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Joy,
Sometimes life gets in the way with other things for us to do! That’s okay – it isn’t a race. By taking your time you’ll see other finishes and find the perfect inspiration for your quilt. ~smile~ Roseanne

  6. I think your quilting looks lovely. Wouldn’t change a thing.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Lori,
Well, that is so sweet! Thanks! The stitch on the white rows is what I had in my head for the whole quilt but not every wave in the ocean is the same so it’ll be fine. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. Dawn Tornes says:

My Regatta is all finished! I just love it and the photo shoot was so fun! Thanks for hosting this no pressure quilt along!

  8. Vicki in MN says:

Still fun to see all the Regattas in different fabrics, each take on a different look. I am a maybe on the next sew along-because it will be summertime!! Excited to see your finish next week;)

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Vicki,
I know, it’s hard to commit to something you haven’t seen right?! Summer is a nice time to start something with no pressure because there are a lot of other/better (??) things to be doing. ~smile~ Roseanne

  9. Rebecca Grace says:

These are gorgeous! It’s amazing how such simple piecing can yield such sophisticated and beautiful quilts. This would be fabulous for teaching beginners, wouldn’t it? You’re just using jelly rolls so students could start sewing so much faster than if you had to teach everyone how to cut straight strips first, right?

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Rebecca,
This would be fabulous for a beginner class. All jelly roll strips, and you can see that you can be creative if you don’t have two of the same strip. I am sure Daniela would be thrilled to hear and see student’s finishes. ~smile~ Roseanne

  10. Shannon Fleming says:

I still need to get my second one quilted, but customer quilts keep sneaking in. It is next in line for my next quilting break….

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Shannon,
Well, first things first! And you’ve had some wonderful customer quilts to work on. I’ll add your second one to the last update. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re going to do on it. ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. Gretchen says:

I still haven’t quilted my Regatta but I do have all the leftover pieces sewn together. Hopefully I’ll have them both quilted by the end of April.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Gretchen,
That’s great and there is no rush or pressure to finish. I made it my March OMG project so I have to get that binding sewn down this week to make it. Well, I guess I still have a 10 days so that should be plenty of time. It’s still in a heap on a coffee table in my living room. Taunting me! HAHA! ~smile~ Roseanne

  12. Pam says:

Thanks for sharing all of the beautiful regatta quilts. I didn’t get to participate this time but I really enjoyed seeing all of the different fabric choices. Very inspiring.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Pam,
Technically, it’s not too late to start. Several folks haven’t gotten very far, and there really isn’t an end date. Maybe you can join us for the next no-pressure sew along? I’d like that. ~smile~ Roseanne
