I had already used my red Alison Glass so I opted for a Seagull and made a white/gray grunge for this one. I think I’ll add some 2021 blocks to this to get the finished look I want.

What a great quilt!! Those colors really pop on the black fabric. Beautiful!! I’m looking forward to stitching along with Jen next year! I just have to find the right fabrics! Gotta hurry!!

  7. Wowie-Kazowie! This quilt top really packs a punch. A clear stand out especially during this drab-dismal 2020.
    Thanks for sharing the journey.

  8. I love this! I can’t wait to see how you set it! In some ways a fast year – all the markers of the year were missed so I find myself totally confused as to what is coming up next sometimes. Thank goodness for quilting. There are other times that this is the slowest year in the world….elections, corona virus, missing people….that I am even more lost. The good news is there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

  9. That’s a pretty grouping of blocks with the black backgrounds. I need to get cracking and get mine done (squirrels are visiting, though).

  10. You did have the perfect cardinal red for your block, Roseanne! I think your whole group turned out great! It’s time for me to go dig for some red and see what will work.
