I don’t call success a D. You have a lot of wonderful things finished. That outweighs anything you didn’t finish. It’s only a list of goals. =)

Hello Roseanne, I was reading the comments and have to agree with everyone. You did an amazing job in completing all of the quilts that you did complete! Quilting is always for FUN if we are disappointed because we did not meet our goals…rethink the goals. I am sending you my biggest bear hug and lots of smiles to just forget about those few goals you did not meet. Plus, just because they are fun to send to a friend at any time for any reason!!! While I was looking at all of these lovely quilts that you have shared with us, I fell in love with your Butterfly quilt all over again. Especially with some of the beautiful fabrics that you chose to use. The tummy quilt is also one that I truly love. It has such a softness appeal that makes it so appealing! Now the Hidden Stars quilt is fabulous. I do not remember you sharing it before. Would you be kind enough to share some of the details with me. It looks like a quilt block that I would enjoy creating with all of my scraps or fat quarters. Then as everyone else has mentioned is the Cinderella Carriage. This pattern does deserve the perfect fabric combination that you and Sue decide upon! Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring with all of your spectacular quilts! Here are loads of extra bear hugs and smiles to make the weekend an enjoyable creative time. Please give those little ones a little hug from me! Your friend Brenda

Great job! I think you deserve a big shout out for your honesty. I get bored with some of my projects, but just don’t admit it. I understand trying to find the exact right fabric to use for the Cinderella quilt. I do think there are shades of black. When I put my blacks together some are darker than others.

  4. Ah, don’t be so hard on yourself. You have an A in my grade book. Maybe your goal list was a little out-of-reach?? There are only so many hours in any given day. 🙂

You would qualify for a grant to increase your test scores if you were a school!! How come there isn’t grant money for our “institution”? LOL

If I had to work full time out of the house, I don’t know if I could manage to finish 2 quilts a month. So I am applauding you two for your great accomplishment!

  7. I agree with everyone…you should be proud of what you did accomplish ♥♥ I love the Cinderella carriage!

  8. It’s March 29, and I haven’t finished one of my FAL Q1 goals, but it’s not because I haven’t been sewing! You, on the other hand, are my goal-crushing hero!

I’ve ordered an “over-achievers” plaque for your quilting wall ! Love that Cinderella carriage!

  10. Ah, grade, smade — you did good work! Look at all those that you crossed off your list. Pat yourselves on the back and go have a DQ sundae 🙂 or some other sweet treat!

You both have full time jobs, so I think you still did good with your goals. I mean you wouldn’t want to run out of things to make, hahaha. Will you carry these over for the 2nd quarter goals?

Remember, quilting is supposed to be fun! Once you start imposing deadlines it becomes a job, not so much fun. I do love the Cinderella quilt, just lovely. Have a great week of sewing and remember, have fun with your sewing/quilting! Happy Stitching!

You know, I’m starting to get obsessed by these Dr. Seuss quilts…I don’t think I’d be able to gift it if I made it now…
