I Love Thursday #113 So Many Blessings
This is the 113th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you. Happy Happy Birthday to our friends, Wendy and Susan. We wish you both a day filled with lots of love and cake and maybe a little quilting.

Nursing Pinning Ceremony! Andrea attended her hard-earned and well-deserved nursing pinning ceremony on Tuesday evening. She wasn’t alone, of course. She was well represented in the audience by GG, her Mom, husband, baby daughter, and both Sue and I. Dominic got to stay home and play with Uncle John. It was such a joy to be able to see this ceremony. We are all so proud of her. It did have a slight bittersweetness to it as the ceremony fell on her dad’s birthday. No one would have been more proud of her than he if he were still alive. She was the apple of his eye!
Here’s the about-to-be-pinned sweetie with her sweetie and Auntie Sue photobombing them. Addison was such a good girl during the hour+ long ceremony. Auntie Rose was feeding her puffs that she took one at a time.

Aisle 12! A friend posted this picture on Facebook and it just cracked me up. Yes, I could get into shopping in this aisle 12. All sorts of good things are found in it, don’t you think?!
Love #3
Holiday Train! We are so lucky to have the Holiday Train travel nearly right through our backyard. We can see it speed by from our patio doors . . . and if we feel like venturing out to the nearby depot we see something like these photos. It was even a fairly warm evening for the event considering it is December.
Love #4
Baby-boy-to-be! Our sweet niece, Nicole, is advancing along in her pregnancy. She is just glowing, feeling great and is enjoying talking about her baby-boy-to-be whenever she gets a chance. She shared an ultrasound photo with me, and I find them so AMAZING. Look at the features that are already so developed! He isn’t due until mid-March so we’ll have to patient in waiting to meet him. Dominic and Addison will love having a cousin so close by.
Love #5
Our sweet girl, Addison turned 11 months recently. How oh how is that possible? She thinks she is hot stuff – and she is – sitting at the big girl table. Don’t tell Dominic – he thinks that’s the big BOY table. Dominic loved paging through the toy catalog that came in the mail ADDRESSED to him! Addison wonders when she will get mail (she’s got boks on the way just for her)?! Plus he’s wearing his favorite shirt in a bigger size – thanks to Karla! Finally, the newly hired coloring inspector, Addison, takes her job quite seriously. Hmm, let me see if you’re coloring appropriately for your age. ♥ ♥ ♥
Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
Wonderful blessings! Babies grow up faster these days don’t they! LOL HUgs
What’s missing this week? Oh yes, my weekly dose of cuteness with Addison and Dominic! They are growing so fast, can’t believe she is 11 months old already! Congrats to Andrea!!! Not an easy task at all! That aisle 12 cracked me up so much!!!! Love it! Have a wonderful week dear friend!
Always love your posts. Pictures are so great from top to bottom! Enjoy the weekend.
So pleased the pregnancy is proceeding smoothly. The joy of a new life is so appropriate for this season! Enjoy your weekend!
Oh and I am jealous you can see the train. It goes by near here but they won’t tell us the time it is top secret as it comes from Canada.
Congratulations Andrea! Addison you are such good girl at mama’s pinning. How fun to have all those babies and more coming. As usual Dominick you are getting so big.
Lovely likes! Congrats to the new nurse in the family. The Holiday Train rolls through here as well…we went to see it once and it is quite something. Here it collects donations for food banks. Love the photo montage of the little ones. Growing so fast…no kidding!
What great likes this week – wonderful family milestones. And aisle 12! I’d love to see what it would actually look like. LOL. The holiday train looks pretty wild.
11 Months?? That seems impossible. She sure is a cutie though. And how amazing that she sat for the pinning ceremony. You and Sue have clearly been a good influence on her! Hugs!
Feeding puffs during a pinning ceremony – that has to be one of the best jobs ever! Love your loves!
It was the best.job.ever. Kathleen!! ~smile~ Roseanne
Congratulations to Andrea! And I love that sign, too – I belong on Aisle 12! What fun you have with Dominic and Addison. The love that you have for those kids always comes through in what you share, Roseanne!
Thank you for the well wishes on Andrea’s behalf- I know she really appreciates them as do we.
That’s my kind of isle, but they left out chocolate, snacks just doesn’t cover it. Congrats on the new baby boy. As always, adorable photos.
Hello Roseanne, I totally enjoyed reading your post today filled with so many great things and people in your life! Thank you for sharing and have a fantastic day!
Always such a smile with your like posts! Congrats to Andrea on a job well-done. I get the bittersweet in it… And silly Auntie Sue!!
Congratulations to Andrea!!! I love that you can see the train from your home! How fun! And the pictures of D & A are so heart-warming! But, I’m positive you must be mistaken, Addison was only born a few months ago – no way is she 11 months!
Happy Quilting! 🙂

You have had a fun week! Thanks for the birthday wishes 🙂 The train came through here too and caused quite the excitement (I missed it – haha). Those littles are just darling. I’m amazed at the ultrasounds now, the detail they can show!
The train came through here this year too, but we missed it. And it was daytime so it wouldn’t be as fun as seeing it all lit up at night. Yep I love Aisle 12 too, haha.
Milestones all around…and family (plus her dad) was a part of it all.
sigh
well you had a lot going on! babies are beautiful little creatures aren’t they – I wish they had ultrasounds years ago we could have seen those photos of our babies in years past also
Congrats to Andrea! Nicole looks great — hard to believe Addie is 11 months old — this year has gone by quickly!
Congratulations to Andrea! Well done! And hugs to the little ones who always complete my week and kick off the weekend with a huge smile…
