I Love Thursday #131 – Plentiful Blessings
This is the 131st post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Facebook funnies! I saw this on my cousin’s Facebook wall the other day and it made me laugh right out loud. I can just imagine the head-snapping, eyebrow-raising (just one), eyes narrowing while asking, what?!! HAHA!
Love #2
United we stand, divided we fall. I remember that powerful line from middle school social studies. In this election year, I suspect we are still divided over politics but I believe a great many of us are on the same page in the pandemic. To qualify it, at least as far as staying healthy and safe. We hope that you all are taking great care.
Love #3
Sweet little Colt! Dominic loves his new baby cousin, but he doesn’t understand his name. First, he went to the car seat and said, “Hi Addison.” “No, this is Colt.” “Cold?? He hot, not cold.” Going forward, we were all very careful to say, “this is ColT not colD.” Dominic is quite careful to not eat any food too hot! ♥ ♥ Our little sweet pea missed his momma who had to stay in the hospital overnight for her gallbladder removal surgery. G-La happily took this picture on the right to share . . . and I stole it from Facebook.
Love #4
This week I have some of THE sweetest pictures ever (see those above?!!). First up is Dominic saying hello to Colt (a.k.a. Addison). He then gave him a kiss on the top of his head. Thankfully, Sue was able to capture the sweet moment! It was time to go night-night NOT. Dominic loves to lay back on Sue’s red pillow on her bed – it is nice and comfy. Building blocks are always fun even when your little sister is waiting right there to knock them down.
Addison and Auntie Rose were concentrating intently on the Elmo Sing-Along! Shortly thereafter, it was time to stomp, stomp, stomp on the chair mats in the sewing room. Finally, our big girl can get herself into Auntie Sue’s chair and make room for her brother, too. We cannot BE more blessed. ♥ ♥ ♥
Join us each Tuesday for our hosted linky party called To-Do Tuesday. Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link above or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
Roseanne – yes, you narrow the eyes and you say “WHAT?”
It doesn’t happen often. My husband and I have been talking about how well everything has gone in the last 5 weeks, considering we have been with each other nearly 24/7!
Yes, I am hoping we are united. Truth must prevail, right?
Stay well!!!
Kids and babies are the most precious things!!
You are so blessed! I have to laugh at that meme – I wonder if that cat is a Scottish Fold, a breed I just learned about. I hope somehow we all come out a kinder better nation as a result of this time.
Did you ever hear the Abbott and Costello’s Who’s on First? routine. Your Dominic story reminded me of that. 🙂 Take care.
Awe Colt is a cutie. LOL will be a fun story when he gets older your cousin called you Cold. Addison is so sweet, and I love seeing Dominick kissing his cousin. Great likes.
I burst in to loud laughter at the cattitude! I remember seeing my grandaughter respond exactly this way when her husband did this the last time I saw them. Oh your littles just get sweeter all the time. Roseanne with all of the Covid crisis and news watching I had actually forgotten it is an election year, and a very critical one at that in America. Saying a prayer for you all. 🤔 Carol
Well Auntie Rose, you look like you have your hands (blessedly) full!
I’ll bet those Littles help drive out any creepy depression-type feelings from invading the house during stay-at-home-time.
Take care.
Kids are cute. We are in this together. I just hope we all survive it. We do what we can.
All I can say is…Awwwww ♥♥ — they are so cute and yes you are very blessed!
Such sweet pictures! Love seeing the kids! Love the cat meme! So nice to know we’re not alone in this quarantine. It’s great we have each other!
I appreciate the cute pics of the littles and the dose of positivity!
Hello Roseanne, Your post was full of fun and love today! I laughed so hard at the FB Post! Plus, I always enjoy wholeheartedly reading and seeing any news about your family and the little ones. Hope the Gall Bladder went well. I know how horrible those things are! The healing is not as painful, by any means as to the pain that the GB causes before. Sorry, I just actually had a memory flash and those do not happen very often. LOL. Thank you for posting and keeping us positive and current on the kiddos! Have a fantastic day!!
So great pictures of the littles. My son called his uncle Uncle Garoger…running uncle and roger together. Uncle did not like it. I love the cat photo and will try copying and sending to my sister. When I made her a face mask, I forgot to use cat fabric..that was disappointing for her. It’s interesting that more people still want to shelter in place than those that don’t. Some common sense prevails!!
Lovely list and cute littles pics, especially that tiny Colt! Oh that meme, LOL!
I love that you have added little Colt right into the family fun! So cute to see Dominic trying to figure out who that is. We are all in this together, for sure, and I’m thankful for my blogging friends who make these unusual days so much more enjoyable!
that cat=titude is hilarious… what did you just say???! the babies as always, so adorable. I wish people were on the same page with the pandemic, after all its a fact but… people at dh’s work say loudly to everyone how it’s a hoax politically driven. Apparently they don’t look at international news? and neighbors here refusing to keep distance or wear masks endangering us… while bragging they only listen to certain tweeters not scientists (said with disdain) Oy vey
You know I look forward to these every week, right? Those babies are absolutely precious and the pictures of them with you are a treasure! Add Addison’s wild hairdo and my day is complete!
So sweet! And this is what all the care during COVID is about…keeping those little ones safe from adults who don’t think beyond themselves…sigh…I see the people out there fighting for their right to go out and pass it on and it scares me for the little ones…thank you for the sweet pics!!!
Good Morning, Roseanne, … adorable little ones, as always … thank you for sharing. May we all be well and united by love … 🙂 Pat
the kids are always so neat to see – i wish I had some little ones around here
It’s so good that you can still see the littles. I’m sure that makes each week a little better while we go through this together. The meme made me giggle, I’ll admit it! Fun post, Roseanne!
