I Love Thursday #132 – Numerous Blessings
This is the 132nd post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
This joke! This is the funniest joke I’ve heard in ages. I’ve made Sue sit through it AT LEAST 20 times. Be sure you have the volume on from the start so you can hear his voice and laughter. The second, third, or fourth time you listen to it be sure to watch her face. It is priceless as well! I adore a good belly laugh . . .
Love #2
More masks! Sue’s sister asked us if we’d make a few more masks. Of course, we said yes in a heartbeat. Once you’ve made a few, as I’m sure you know, it becomes much easier. Sue cut the pieces of fabric for me, I cut the elastic to the correct lengths and they were together in a blink. We use two different fabrics on each mask so you can tell which side you are breathing on.
Love #3
Colt is starting to coo and turn toward voices he recognizes. We can’t wait to get our hands on him more often . . . First up, our Baby Shark Colt, doo doo doo doo doo doo. Don’t you just want to pick him UP? Then, he’s a future basketball star . . . hear the roar of the crowd?! Finally, Colt’s stuffed dinosaur has a lot to tell him while he’s enjoying the bouncy seat. Don’t worry, Colt can keep a secret. ~smile~ ♥ ♥
Love #4
Dominic and Addison had another fabulous week. They don’t care one bit about the virus (thankfully) other than they have to stay in the house more often. Dominic was playing with the little puzzle game quite happily . . . and then along come Troubles. GG calls Addison Troubles and there may just be a valid basis for that nickname. They do so MANY things together like washing our hands in the kitchen. Brushing our teeth in the morning warrants a good morning kiss for Addison.
Auntie Sue is so funny even though Addison was just crying moments before. Phew – Auntie Sue saved the day. Then it’s a question of where you going, Auntie Sue? While we wait for your return, let’s lick the glass on the storm door. YUCK! Good thing I just cleaned it very recently. Addison will do anything to wipe up water off the table for momma. Even with her brand new tights on – she’s got this. Finally, our two favorite NFL draft picks. ♥ ♥ ♥
Love #5
This picture is reminiscent of the picture taken at Christmas time. Dominic had issues SITTING in the chair . . . it seems there is a distinct theme arising. I thought it warranted its own separate Love. It totally cracks me up! I’m not 100% sure but Addison just may be rolling her eyes.

A great gutbuster!!! You know it’s going to be funny when the person telling it can’t even keep a straight face! Enjoy the rest of your week!
What is is with 2nd kids and trouble? I was a 3rd kid, so I have no idea about that. LOL. But Troubles sure is a cutie!!
BRAHAHHAHAHA! Dominic in the chair and the laying theme, cracks me up! cole is adorable and I love Addison’s new nickname! Have a wonderful week and thanks for always touching our heart!
Thanks for helping to make my Thursday a little more light hearted with the dad joke and the pics of the littles. It’s good to get a break from all the overwhelming stuff. Take care, Mary.
Cole is so cute! He’s adorable as a shark! Dad joke is so funny! Made me chuckle! The little kids are always fun to see! I’m done with making masks. I’ll make them if someone needs one but I’m done for now!
We have a contra dance caller that always tells dad jokes at the dance. Always a groaner – and we all laugh. Yay for masks!
Oh goodness! I totally didn’t get the joke until I read Lee Ann’s comment! So funny! Thank you for sharing such sweet photos!
The joke is awesome. Colt and the dino are having a deep philosophical discussion. I don’t understand why anyone would call Addison “Trouble”. The two pics with Dominick and Addison in the chairs are awesome. OMG I am so glad that my grandchildren weren’t the only window lickers. I had one that used to slide the glass door with his tongue out so there was a big smear all the way across.
Love the dad joke!!! It’s a groaner for sure!!! LOL
Thanks for sharing your loves!
The kids really are the sweetest photos to share! Take care and enjoy this special time with them! Hugs!
still laughing at that guy! abudabido! the littles are so sweet!
Oh those littles just make me smile and the dad joke just cracked me up! 😄 Carol
That joke! I love when you get a laugh on like that.. My mother loved the antics of each grandchild, and would have love to produce a weekly slide show you do. It always makes me smile!
Well, I admit I’m a bit slow, lol, so it took me 2 viewings to get the joke, but the guy telling it just made me laugh anyway! Cole definitely looks like he could be D and A’s brother – such a strong family resemblance. Those two are so cute together, and I bet they are going to be good buddies all through growing up!
Oh those kids are just so cute. You two will have your work cut out for you to keep up with the three of them. But so much fun.
So good that photos and FaceTime help keep us connected to our loved ones, and smiling!
Ok, still giggling over the joke – hahahahaha. Cute kiddos too, by the way!
Now that’s hilarious, the draft pics…love it! Colt has sure got personality early on, all of the littles do…they make my week! May life treat them well so that they are always this happy! And what a good idea for the masks, the different colors, didn’t even cross my mind…
Your pictures never fail to put a smile on my face:)
kids are terrific!! they just usually do not let life bother them and a thing like a world wide pandemic – they won’t even remember this thank goodness
Cole is getting bigger…love those draft pic photos!
