I Love Thursday #138 – Numerous Blessings
This is the 138th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Flowering crabapple tree! This beauty is in our side front yard and I am enjoying it so much. The flowers on it are so delicate . . . and they look really pretty with the neighbor’s Linden (I think, based on the shape) and a gray-blue sky as a backdrop.
Love #2
Space travel and NASA! I am thrilled to learn that space travel has started up again after over a decade of a pause. Watching a launch one day is definitely on my bucket list. These two astronauts are on their way to the International Space Station for about four months. This launch is a partnership with SpaceX – a private corporation owned by Elon Musk. Just fascinating.
Love #3
Fat quarter! I won another fat quarter from Melva from her Pieces From the Past sew-along. Isn’t this pretty?!
Love #4
Sweet little baby Colt went out boating this past weekend with his grandparents. He didn’t mind wearing a life preserver at all and he thought the water brought out the blue in his eyes. I would definitely agree with Mr. Three-Months-Old-Today.
Love #5
Dominc and Addison posed for a picture in their Bat duds just for Auntie Sue since she’s a Batman lover. Then it was time to help her open up birthday cards and read them while she fed baby Colt. Uncle Billy stopped over and was happy to squish, squish, squish Dominic on the couch and then let him stomp for fun.
Still wearing his Bat duds, Dominic thought he would fill the 64-ounce cup with water . . . and have a little drink. Hmm, it turns out the water pours out a bit faster than expected and his Bat duds got wet. Oh well! Our sweet girl says, batter up! Next, she’s popping out the window of the playhouse and saying a quiet “Hi!” Finally, they both asked momma on the way to run some errands, “where water go?” Happy healthy Thursday to you!

As always, the children are all adorable. I, too, am excited about the space travel, especially because it’s Space X, not NASA!
Wonderful likes from start to finish – of course, you always save the best for last! Enjoy the rest of your week!
Sweet smiles, adventure and beauty. So much to be grateful for if we look and listen. Thanks for the reminder.
I love the pop of color of your crabapple tree. I don’t recall if I’ve ever seen one in person. I read about them in novels I read as a kid. Maybe it was in the Anne of Green Gable stories. Sweet of your darlings to pose in their batman shirts.
HI Roseanne – just popping in to say hello and admire your kiddos! They grow so fast don’t hey? Hope your weekend is filled with hand prints on your front door!
Precious time with adorable kids! Beautiful post!
The kids are so cute. I loved Batman when I was a kid. My friend across the street and I had Batman and Robin costumes, about the same age. I wish I could find that picture from a long time ago. Thanks for jogging that memory.
What a sweet FQ! And what sweet faces!
Yes isn’t it great to see the space industry at it again. That flowering tree is gorgeous…flowering trees and bushes are favourites of mine. Also gorgeous…that photo of Colt! All kids should have an uncle like Billy that plays with them. Thanks again for putting a smile on my face, Roseanne.
Your crab apple tree is blooming a couple of weeks behind mine. I love the crazy red pink flowers though. The kiddos are so cute, how can’t you just love them. I think it would be awesome to see a rocket launch in person.
Beautiful crabapple tree, and I love Colt’s blue eyes!
Such a pretty crabapple. Yay for the fat quarter. Love the color and the print.
Congrats on winning the fat quarter. So pretty! Pretty crabapple tree too! I missed watching the launching of the space shuttle. It’s amazing to see even on televission! Those kids are growing so fast!
Love your loves … enjoyed D drinking from the bucket! A lesson learned! Hopefully he wasn’t too upset!
Always enjoy reading about the likes/loves. Yes, space travel is something I’ve found interesting…for those astronauts, not me. I enjoy seeing trees of different colors and how a little bit of red makes the yard sparkle so. Those littles are just so darling. I always enjoy the photos of them. Thank you for sharing.
Always fun to see those sweet littles of yours, Roseanne! Playing with water is the best fun! Your flowering crab is beautiful, and your fat quarter win fits right in with it, too. We also enjoyed watching the SpaceX ship dock with the space station!
those little faces, so open and pretty! we used to watch the rockets take off from school, or our house in Tampa! It was always exciting to see, I’m so glad to see the research still being done too. DH went through his master’s degree on a NASA scholarship.
Our sweetness for the week and little colt is looking older than just 3 months old! My goodness he is a cutie pie! I just love your kiddos and they are all getting so big!!! Your tree is lovely and congrats on the fat quarter! Have a great week sweet Roseanne!
As always the photos are adorable.
I would have loved to see D’s reaction to the water spilling all over him!
Love the littles!! Feeling well fortified to end the week now! LOL Especially the bat outfits…so dang cute!!
Oh my goodness! Your little cuties are growing up so fast!! They are the best favorites of all:). Also/- I wasn’t even aware of the space travel. Where have I been? I am going to have to google it. Thank you for sharing!
How fast your little people are growing! I love your list. The space launch made news here too and it was nice to have something positive and constructive in the news for a change. Have a great week.
What fun likes, Roseanne! We’ve been watching the space travel too; so interesting! The littles are growing too fast! Addison’s hair is adorable 🙂
