I Love Thursday #154 Plentiful Blessings
This is the 154th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Doll Buggy Parades! Here’s a police officer leading a local doll buggy parade. Although I don’t see too many actual doll buggies, this certainly has to bring a smile to your face. I remember spending hours when I was a kid, decorating my doll buggy or later, my bike, with crepe paper. It was quite the big deal and apparently, it still is. ~smile~
Caramel! Even when it is lost is a huge truck fire. Can you just imagine how good this smelled at first, before the sugar really started to burn. No one was hurt in this incident – the driver was fine – but all of the caramel was lost.
Colt has had a rough two weeks but he is one the mend as are mommy and daddy. Just to show you how determined he is, that little stinker is using his friend the elephant to pull himself up on. And pillows on the couch are pretty darn comfy to stand on as well. This sweet pea will be walking in no time at all. ♥ ♥
Colt also learned another trick that his cousin Addison was quite fond of when she was his age:
Little stinkers, both of them!
I think I may have forgotten to share Dominic’s crown from his birthday celebration at preschool. They sang to him and he shared a treat of Goldfish and juice. I think he may like celebrating the whole month of September! Dominic also has learned that he likes to bake, and even more, the benefits of cleanup. And licking the spatula. His baker’s assistant, Addison, says she just prefers the spatula.
Addison was ready to go one morning with her Jessie boots on and her polka dotted jumpsuit. She had to run back though . . . to get her baby and Woodie. Phew. Carry on mommy – we can go now. Finally, the baby bath tub was unearthed! It makes for a fabulously fun time by herself or with her brother climbing in, too. ♥ ♥
