I Love Thursday #155 Numerous Blessings
This is the 155th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.

Love #1
Jackpot! Not mine or Sue’s (unfortunately) but a good friend recently got back from Las Vegas. I asked her if she won and she sent over this snapshot. My Mom used to winter in Vegas (snowbird) and loved to gamble. I can hear her saying now, “win, win, win” to anyone that was going gambling. How thrilling and exciting to have that come up on your machine!

Love #2
Sally’s Blueberry Cookies! These were kind of a pain to make, especially the instruction to fold in the blueberries without breaking them. Yeah. If you look closely you can see the blueberry juice! They are delicious and a big hit with Dominic and his daddy. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Sally!

Love #3
Baby Colt thinks he should stand up in his crib now! I guess it’s time to lower that mattress. In other news, Colty has discovered his love of teething wafers just like his Daddy did about 29 years ago. The apple doesn’t fall far . . . ♥ ♥
Love #4
Dominic and Addison are enjoying the first full week of October. Dominic enjoys being thrown up in the air by Daddy, giggling higher and higher! Before that, he was busy threading beads with Annie Sue (Auntie Sue). Who are these hatted babies? Yes, Woody’s hat is brown and Jessie’s hat is red – there seems to be a slight mix up.
Sweet girl wasn’t really thrilled to be standing on the fire engine by herself – tears were about to break out. She was thrilled, though, with the pumpkin decorations – delighted, I would say. Finally, while she is one year older she still fits in the same jacket as last year. Not documented here but noteworthy just the same is that she also had both shoes on (or pink boots in this case). ♥ ♥

Woohoo for the win! Great pic of Colt and his Daddy. Hey the hat matched his outfit. Addison is just sprouting up, not out.
Love the pictures of the kids! The blueberry cookies look delicious. Blueberries are hard to cook with! It’s nice to know people actually win in Vegas!
Lovely photos of the kids and yummy looking cookies! Have a wonderful week!
The cookies look yummy. The kiddos are all growing, but what fun they have in the process. We always did the pumpkin patch photos with the SIT when she was little, she loved it. I wonder if we could convince her to go this weekend?
I live in Nevada and when we first moved here I would play penny slots. Then I moved to dimes but really waiting for a jackpot (I thought a $35 pot was great!) was too hard. And I really couldn’t afford to lose. I found that reading a book is so much more fun. Now, I’ll enter a drawing on a quilting blog and once in a while I get downright lucky! Those littles are so charming. Colt is really growing like a weed. He’ll soon be taller than Addison! Thank you for sharing those photos.
Yum! Those blueberry cookies look scrumptious. I can identify with your friends feelings when she hit that jackpot. I hit a 5
$5 k one in Laughlin (about 3:00 am with no one around). My heart was pounding so hard and I didn’t have my nitro spray so I had the very excited waitress bring me a shot of scotch. 3 or 4 sips had me calmed down so when they paid me my payout I wasn’t too shocked at the withholding! Don’t think we’ll be heading back to Reno or Vegas for a year or so with the pandemic. Addison is such a little doll. Colton and Dominic sure do keep me entertained.. we do love your littles.
The blueberry cookies look scrumptious. I can’t imagine what Vegas is like right now in the pandemic. I’d rather go someplace pretty! Fun pics of the kiddos.
They are a pain! I happened to use frozen blueberries (which had its own problems). But they are delicious. I’m glad you liked them!
Your pix of the munchkins is the highlight of the week!
As usual, you share some wonderful LOVES! Congratulations to your friend! That’s a good win! (But how would I know – I’ve never gambled!) 🙂
Cookies look delicious! Just a hint: if the blueberries are frozen, they don’t break!
And Colt, Dominic and Addison … always SO CUTE!!!
As always your Thursday posts are full of Little Cuteness! I enjoy the photos so much! I’ve never been to Vegas, but my luck never holds in any casino I have ever been in! 🤷♀️ My littles love blueberry muffins, blueberry cookies might be a hit also! Thanks for sharing,
Oh my your cookies have me hungry.
That’s quite a jackpot! The blueberry cookies look and sound yummy – even if some if the blueberries smushed a bit. Looks like the kiddos had fun at a Halloween festival. I think A’s mom did a good job buying her coat with some growing room! Happy Thursday, Roseanne!
blueberry cookies!!! yum Winning a jackpot, yea! I can’t win, because I don’t play, lol
thank you lots Roseann for being there for us, keeping us smiling at cookiebabies
Addison is such a delicate looking girl but in fact doesn’t look to afraid to try new things. Good for her. I Love seeing Colt grow so quickly. You all stay safe and have a great day.
Wonderful Thursday loves. Cole is adorable with his biscuits as are Dominic and Addie in their hats. She is such a petite thing!
Beautiful children and blueberry cookies – a WIN!
Colt sure looks like his dad, do you think? Kids and pumpkins just seem to go together. Yes, I’ve been there trying to fold in blueberries without busting them. But it’s all yummy anyway.
Precious, precious pics of babies!! I think my fave is Addison looking at that pumpkin!
Blueberry cookies? What a fun idea. I might have to try them. The kiddos are just too cute!
Love the pictures, as always! Addison is such a tiny little waif…I looked more like the pumpkin at her age LOL Fall pics are so great for the color! They all are so dang cute!!!!
I have never thought to put blueberries in cookies – looks good – and so does baby
