I Love Thursday #156 Blessings Plenteous
This is the 156th post or three years of posting things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.

Love #1
Window! I’ve worked in my current school district for over eight years, and it has taken longer than that to get this window installed. On the first day of school (!!!), the contractor thought it was a good day to break through the bricks. Nah, that wasn’t noisy at all. And we had just returned to the office – he couldn’t possibly start that work while no one was there to disturb! We went from a plastic tent, to a boarded-up frame, to finally – glass today! Woot woot!
Heading #2
These glorious colors! Just look at the Fall colors framed perfectly by these windows. The trees range the whole gamut from green, to gold, to orange, to reds. Ahhh. I feel the stress melting away just looking at this picture.

Love #3
Pink October! I was happy to add these patches to William’s police uniform. His department is supporting Pink for breast cancer awareness month, and he is proud to wear them. We even had some pink thread that matched really well, and you would never notice the sewing line. ♥ ♥

Love #4
Our little sweet pea, Baby Colt, visited the pumpkin farm for the first time. His blue eyes really stand out with the pile of orange pumpkins behind him. All that excitement and new things to see just wore him out. He couldn’t even keep his pacifier in his mouth, he was so tired. ♥ ♥
Love #5
Dominic and Addison went to the pumpkin farm with Gamma. It was a nice sunny day and they both had their pumpkin shirts on. Getting them both to look at the camera, at the SAME time, is nearly an act of Congress. I just HAD to share a picture of the four visits sweet Dominic has had since he was born. ~smile~
I forgot to share Colt’s seven-month photo above so I thought it could be shared with his cousins. This little guy does NOT want to hold still for anything! Crawling and pulling himself up are his focus, along with putting everything in his mouth to ease the soon-to-be-teeth. Colt and Dominic enjoyed some Puffs (although Dominic didn’t like them one bit when he was a baby). Prior to that, D needed a bath to get his pre-school germs off and Colty had a FIT. He wanted to take a bath, too. Just like Addison just about a year ago. ~smile~ We love these babies!

Yay! Gamma got to go to the pumpkin farm with littles. We tried to go, but exposure to a Covid case canceled out plans. No one got sick though.
I am drooling over the view through your class windows. I have no window at all in my classroom – only a skylight.
As always, the sweetest bunch of babes!
The pumpkin patch is so much fun for the little ones! We used to always go and enjoy the maze and everything! Love the pink patches and your beautiful Fall colors! Give those little ones a treat! Hugs!
Finally some time to sit back and enjoy my favorite little ones! Now I’m smiling…tough week all forgotten…thank you cute ones! Such dolls…nothing beats the medicine of their antics…
Pumpkin farms are so fun! I love the panoramic view of the beautiful fall colors through the windows. I’m glad you got a new window even though the timing is off. Sewing patches aren’t easy but they do look nice!
Oh, how I miss visiting the pumpkin patch with our little ones. It was always at least a half-day event with a corn maze and hay ride and other activities. I’ll have to be patient for grands to arrive! Enjoy your weekend!
Awe fun pics. Addison is not a fan of the pumpkin patch either? LOL the construction but man the view is awesome. Oh Colt you sweetie. Gee how fast Dominick has grown, love the 4 photos.
Your like(loves) today, raised my spirits! Pumpkin patches are so much fun, it seems! I’ve never been to one or a corn maze either! Guess this old Gramma needs to up her game!
Ooh! Nice window (finally) and what an incredible view. Pumpkin Patches and Littles! Total sweetness! Can life get any better than these likes/loves?
What a glorious Fall color photo!!!
Yeah for a window. I love the fall foliage photo. That’s a BIG chair!
Oh such a bundle of likes/loves. That window is wonderful now that it is complete. What a view!! The why of how things get done is not to be considered without causing a massive brain flame. Those littles are so cute. The pumpkin patch surely was a good place to wear out Colt! and the kids are so much fun. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Roseanne, What a spectacular view you now have and all year long you will watch as the seasons change! The pictures are always such a joy to see! I am so glad that you share them with us. Thank you and have a fabulous day!
OH how the world loves pumpkins! Such fun for the kids to visit these farms and all decked out in perfect shirts to match it all. That window photo with the autumn show is beautiful. How neat the police are on side with that very important cause and your sewing skills came in handy. Best part as always seeing those three little lovelies. And look at that Colt John!
Hooray for a window in your office, Roseanne! Does it make a huge difference in everyone’s attitude? 🙂 Love the fall colors and the pumpkin farm photos, too. It seems that Colt might have wanted to get in that tub with D!
YEAH!!! Congratulations on your window!!! As with all projects, they happen when they happen!
Love the pics of the pumpkin littles!! 🙂
Colt will not be left behind! Lol. What a beautiful view you have! I used to dislike sewing scout patches on my kids uniforms. Ugh- killed my hands. Kudos to you.
Yup, the timing of some of these things is ridiculous – but that window is gorgeous. The trees are my favorite thing about fall. Kids in tubs and with pumpkins are another favorite. Happy Thursday to you.
Awww sweet loves!! I loved my huge window in my office with the State…well, at least the two days I was in the office each week and not making sure agencies were following Medicare guidelines!! Of course, in cold weather it got a little chilly! I know you’ll enjoy that. Our kiddos went to the Pumpkin Patch Sunday after church and had a blast! I really didn’t mind sewing our daughter’s Missionette patches on her sashes when she was young. The thing I hated the most was hemming!!
If I remember my working days correctly, having a window in one’s office is a huge honor – even reflective of one’s ‘status’ within the business…and here you had one specifically built for your office space. Wow! You go, girl!
😎
yea for windows! the view is breathtaking. Cute pic of the littles!
Okay, I”m officially howling at Baby Colt wanting a bath with his cousin! I love all the photos and grateful you finally are getting a glass window!!! Have a wonderful day!
so sweet with the pumpkins – one would think the windows could have been replaced while school was being taught remotely!
Oh my goodness that time-lapse of Dominic at the pumpkin farm!! So so sweet. And I am with Piecfulwendy – I sewed a patch on my BIL’s firefighter jacket the other day. Definitely one of my least favorite tasks – will the thread show??? Will I break a needle??? Will it be centered??? AND I wanted to remind him that asking a quilter to sew a patch (or hem your pants) is like asking Picasso to paint your garage! ;o) Hope you have fun planned for the weekend!
Sometimes ya gotta wonder about the timing of construction stuff, no? But you have a window, and you can see clearly now – haha – yippee! Those littles are just too cute! I commend you for sewing the patches on to William’s uniform; I remember sewing patches on vests for my kids when they were in AWANA. It was one of my least favorite tasks.
