I Love Thursday #159 Bountiful Blessings
This is the 159th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Prime Day! Did you partake in Prime Day? That’s Amazon Prime Day filled with “special” pricing and oodles of good “deals”. I usually do not succumb, and Sue never ever shops online. That’s what I’m for, I guess. This year, I did poke around and may have purchased an iRobot-wanna-be vacuum cleaner. Maybe. This meme really cracked me up – don’t drink and Prime. HAHA!

Love #2
A Green Bay Packer wall hanging found a home. Sue and I made this wall hanging many moons ago. We had planned on making several and hanging them nearby during football season. Hers in her classroom, mine in my office but there was an issue. Schools don’t really support beer and beer steins. While that may be part of tailgating and football games, we never got a chance to really enjoy this as planned. Gamma (Sue’s sister) has fixed up her basement as a sport’s center and the Packer wall hanging has a new home! Happily, it fits right in . . . and maybe the Packer’s will oblige and give us a long overdue Super Bowl run and ring this season.

Love #3
Random loves! Rochelle sent me this picture of pumpkins painted as cute M&M faces. Isn’t that a fun idea for next year? Our friend Rosalie send home some cranberry-orange muffins for me to enjoy. Yeah, I was too hungry to stop for a picture – just the empty papers is all I’ve got. They were good! Finally, I got a new mug for my birthday and enjoyed some coffee in it.
Love #4
While Halloween may be over, that doesn’t mean the costumes have to put away. Dominic and Addison still love playing with their buckets especially when one can wear them on their head. Equal sharing time must be noted as well! The dynamic duo also shared Annie Sue’s (a.k.a. Auntie Sue) lap while reading an Elmo book.
One of the last nice days of Fall was enjoyed by Dominic and Addison, especially the slide. This picture of the three amigos just warms my heart while watching for Gamma. Colt with a dump truck on his butt, Addison wearing her bunny outfit, and Dominic sans pants (potty training is still ongoing). A closeup shot of Dominic just because he’s handsome, Addison enjoying a Woody book for the ride home, and Colty just isn’t sure about sitting at the big table. But he was sure comfy on Auntie Sue the pillow. He took a two hour nap after being wrapped like a ninja.

What an awesome wall hanging. I did not do any prime shopping, could have been I have been working some crazy hours too. Oh potty training…so glad those days are long gone. Always great to see the littles and love how they play together. Only a little while longer and Colt will be running with the big kids.
LOL at drink and prime! I love your football wall hanging, it’s perfect in a sports room!! My favorite is seeing the kids grow of course. Addison is getting tall!!! Dom is a cutie pie and that photo of Colt at the big table is hilarious! Have a wonderful week!
Yay for finding a home for the wall hanging. It’s nice when a treasure is just right! Your littles continue to bring much joy to all of us. I loved the expression on Colt’s face while sitting at the big table. 😄. I can honestly say I did not indulge on Prime Day, but I laughed out loud at your meme. I’m spending all of my “pin money” on payments on my longarm.
don’t drink and prime… gosh I’m doing that sober!!!
I didn’t do any Prime shopping, maybe I should have? The kids look to be having a great time being kids. With all the stressful stuff going on, it has to be nice to have some littles around to just make you smile.
Cute Colt on Auntie Sue is my favourite this week though that’s hard to say with such cutie patooties. Glad your Packers hanging has such a great home. I found out that’s my former SIL’s ( still good friends) favourite team…I thought so and checked it out; he played football in high school. Meanwhile, missed the Prime Day but we do enough Amazon prime shopping, LOL. Very funny meme.
I didn’t Prime shop this time but I’m sure I’ll plenty more opportunities! The Packers quilts is great! I love the kids wearing their costumes. Halloween goes by too fast! Cute random likes too!
Not sure which picture melts my heart more – the three amigos or Auntie Sue and Colt. And I sure do love that Packers quilt! Hope your weekend is filled with family and fun.
What a fun Packer’s quilt! Those painted pumpkins are a hoot! Yay for a new mug. Looks like it holds a proper amount of coffee. 🙂
Aw, aren’t they adorable! And love the wallhanging!!
LOL!!! Don’t drink and Prime!!!
The kids are SO CUTE!!! of course costumes are for all year, didn’t you know? 🙂
Looks like you found the perfect spot for your Packers wall-hanging, Roseanne – it looks great! My kids always loved wearing their Halloween costumes for a long time after the day was over, too. So much fun to make-believe! That picture of everyone waiting for Gamma is priceless!
HI,
Beautiful wall hanging, it looks perfect there. Beautiful new cup. Your picture slide show is great…real cuties. Have a great day!
Such a great..ful Thursday post! I love all the photos and laughed at the Prime photo! Would have loved a taste of those muffins if the papers are anything to go by. And those littles are always smiling (well when we get to see them). I like that Dominic and Addison are great playmates at least most of the time!
I’m thinking Colt is going to be one heartbreaker when he grows up! Those M&M pumpkins are the BEST! Brady always loves getting extra mileage out of Halloween costumes too, still at age 12! The three amigos at the window awww.
Will look forward to your review of your “wannabe i-robot”! I love the pumpkins, too. So fun to see what folks are doing. Love the sans pants as well as the other pics of the sweeties.
I’m ashamed to admit we are big prime day shoppers! I hope you enjoy your I-Robot wannabe as much as I do mine. Great pics of the kiddos and I love love the Packers Wall Hanging!
Oh such fun photos. I have memories of our littles and their Halloween buckets. We played Trick or Treat long into winter!
I actually did not do any Prime shopping this year! I could sure use one of those i-robot wannabe vacuums though…one that is tough on dog hair!! LOL Sweet baby pics!
Colt’s face is priceless as an expressive marker! Has me smiling all the time! He just speaks louder than most with no words LOL The little ones are so cute, and yes, Dominic just IS a handsome little man…thank you for always sharing…the 3 look so cute lined up at the window…makes my week every time! Am loving that pic with the M and Ms…great idea!
I might have done some Prime Day shopping, but I’m a bit envious about your purchase. Kiddos are cute, and I like the Packers quilt, even though I’m not a football fan at all.
