I Love Thursday #41
This is our 41st post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Art inspiration. We took a stroll through the art auction pieces while we were on our cruise. This was one of the pieces that we all thought was pretty darn cool. I could see a quilt fashioned and inspired from this piece, especially the sail. While we didn’t buy or bid on it – the opening bid was a couple thousand – they did allow me to snap a picture.

75 degrees with no humidity! OMG! After days and days and days of mid-90 degree days with the dew point in the mid-70s we were given a gift. A day to turn off the recently replaced furnace and throw open the doors and windows. YAY! I really LOVE spending the whole day enjoying fresh air . . . which leads to number three.
Love #3
Spending the afternoon with Dominic! I know this is a two-fer, because yes, he is still my last love as well. But we got to enjoy the nice fresh air with a stroll around the neighborhood, and some rocking time on the back porch. When we came back inside, he was fascinated with Sue’s waving fingers poking out the handle of his toy basket. Look at the delight on his face! Who needs toys when you can try to catch some fingers?!! ♥
Love #4
Regular work week. Yup, this week is a regular work week with no time off. How will I ever make it through?! Since I adore my job, it’s really no bother. We are visiting my brother and sister-in-law this weekend. No sleeping in at all (which we rarely ever do), as we’ll be up early for the drive. A visit to a quilt shop in their city is in the offing. Sitting and visiting is just the best, and their sun porch has a fabulous view of the lake. It is something I look forward to very much as we just don’t get to spend enough time together.
Love #5
Dominic is ten months old now! I can’t believe how big he looks in this photo yet he is still SO little at the same time. He’s a little charmer. We love this baby!
That’s it for this week! We hope your week is filled with many blessings. Happy Thursday!

There are so many blessings to be thankful for! 😊♥️
We’ve been enjoying the cooler weather, too. That sailboat painting is interesting. I could picture a quilt of that.
Happy aunts and gorgeous little nephew…what a great post. You have some great things happening and I especially like the idea that you love your job. That’s a bonus.
that sounds glorious! Open windows airing out the house! Still hot here, and smoky from wild fires far away. that sailboat looks quilty to me!
Hello Roseanne; Wonderful list of Love to share. Summertime visits with family has always been a love of mine. So I hope you all have the best of times together! It is amazing how quickly they grow and so much fun the silly things that become the fun attention grabbers for them! I hope that all of you have a great week and weekend!
A day with reasonable temps and no humidity – everyone’s favorite kind of summer day! Since I live in Colorado where the humidity is low most of the time, I enjoy that a lot – but cooler temperatures would make it even better! Cute Dominic- definitely a charmer! Enjoy your family visit, Roseanne!
Oh my goodness Dominic is too cute.
What a smile— Dominic is such a charmer! Happy Thursday!
Sitting and visiting on a sun porch by the lake — that is what summers should be, especially without humidity! Enjoy!
He is so cute! Made my day! He’s got a killer smile!
