I Love Thursday #73
This is our 73rd post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Love #1
Cows! This picture is of some cows at a nearby farm. They just made me smile as they weren’t bothered one bit by all the snow we have recently received. Doesn’t it just look like they were all jockeying to be in the best position for the photograph?! Especially that black and white one peeking under the front guy’s ear. I would love to have known what they were thinking.
Love #2
Visits with GG! Dominic and Addison finally got their chance to be spoiled by the GGs. This was Addi’s first one-on-one time with the GGs. They were over for 2.5 hours, and this is how they looked when they got home.
Addison drank 4.5oz of her bottle at GGs and her norm is 2.5-3oz. Dominic, who has been getting in his eye teeth, also ate well at GGs. Chicken and rice, a PB&J sandwich, some lemon meringue yogurt, pudding, and cookies. And then when mom got there, some noodle casserole in spite of the fact that he doesn’t like noodles. Mom called it a carb overload when he slept for 1.5 hour nap. We love these two! ♥ ♥
Happy Thursday! See you next week with more loves. I guess I was caught unawares this week to have so few loves. Hahahaha! I love the photos of the kids passed out! It’s great! Have a great week!
Moo! Our local cows are so curious. Yours are pretty colors (and look like they have such fuzzy ears).
Maybe you think is was too few but they were amazing loves and honestly, those precious littles count at a million loves anyway! I have to admit I did chuckle (ok, guffawed!) when you pointed out the black and white cow peeping under her friend. Thank you for sharing friend, and making my day!
Moooo. I’ve noticed that about cows (and horses), too. Looking like they’re happy to pose for a stranger’s camera.
Oh I think you did well, especially Like #2 is what life is all about.
But the cows are special too.
Such great photos. Love those kids and the cows are a close second. That front cow was probably thinking she was first in line for whatever snacks might be produced. Save that photo of the babies to show everyone that they actually do slow down to zero MPH sometimes. Have a great week.
Aw, they are too cute! And I adore cows! I think they are thinking “what the heck is that person doing?”
Sweet cows! You have to eat when you go to Grandma’s house…it’s a long standing rule!
Those cows getting their photo done. so cute. Those grand kids were worn out, too. I love that my grandson eats a big lunch here and then we take a nap together. Thank God- I need the rest. heehee.
Love your cow photo! They look very curious as to what is going on there. Looks like the GGs wore the little ones out, lol! Usually I hear it is the other way around. 🙂 Happy Thursday, Roseanne!
cows and sleeping babies! Sugar for eyes! The cows are so adorable… love cows. Aren’t their feet cold? They are so curious creatures, I watched a Youtube of cows coming over to listen to musicians playing classical music.
Dominic certainly had a feast in those 2.2 hours…wow! Good job, GG!
🙂
Cows and kids — what a fun post!
Holstein cows and babies! You made my day!
Wow…I can’t believe the cows were so attentive while you took their photo! Addison and Dominic look cozy and worn out — sounds like they had a great time 🙂
Wow, cows are hams…who knew it?! Love the carb overload…a condition I suffer from daily…once again the little dynamic duo makes my week…thank you!
