I Love Thursday #97 Blessing Abound
This is the 97th post of things we love for the week. We post these loves each Thursday along with LeeAnna on her blog at Not Afraid of Color. Several additional friends also share on a weekly basis – be sure to check them out. You will surely find something to inspire you.
Wedding shower gift in use! Sue and I recently attended a wedding shower. The next morning, we received a text showing the gift being used for the first time. That makes us feel good – we picked a gift that they can enjoy right away.
Full Sturgeon Moon! This is a photo of the Full Sturgeon moon over NYC and the Statue of Liberty. I don’t know if you had a chance to see this full moon last Thursday (either moonrise or moonset) but it was really stunning. I enjoyed it on my way to work early Thursday (15th) morning but I had no idea it was named the Sturgeon moon. Its name was taken from early Native American’s who chose this name because it was the time to harvest sturgeon fish in the Great Lakes.
Sweet 16 (a little late)! It occurred to me that I have been remiss in sharing my great-niece’s sweet 16 birthday party photos. Here is Liliana at her birthday celebration. The second photo is her with her younger sister, Mikaela, who was the sweetheart taking Dominic down the water slide. I cannot believe Liliana is 16 already.
Dominic has a basket of balls in his bedroom, and that delights him to no end. He’s also a big help showing momma where to take a temperature! Thank you for showing us how, Dominic. Addison says I want to take a bath, too, momma! Should I just climb in?! And, please get these teeth through so I can chew on everything and anything. Finally, our little tiger girl trying to climb on the couch. Isn’t that tail just adorable?! Addison has a nice smile in her cute outfit just for you. Last of all, we had to do a comparison shot with Dominic on the left and Addison on the right. Neither one could wear it for Halloween because it’s just too small but that’s okay! ♥ ♥ ♥
