  1. I don’t like when my wall is blank either and it is right now. I have been contemplating what I will work on (finish) next. Spent the day on my OMG and it is currently off the wall. what to do, what to do?

Hello Roseanne, I think it is so fabulous the way that you and Sue work together and help one another out with your quilting projects!! I have tried hand quilting and even hand turned applique, but just can not find the patience that is needed for those methods. So I definitely give the quilters who do an extra set of applause, that is a lot of special work they do! Before I become a quilter, I really did not like polka dots much at all and even then it took me awhile to really catch the polka dot love. LOL. In the past couple of years, I have really fallen hard and have used quite a bit of it. It is so fun to use with the awesome size variations and all of the color variations and so on and so forth…I really like your background green with the variety of colors. This is going to be a fun quilt. I look forward to seeing more pictures. Thank you so much for sharing and have a spectacular day!!

  3. I like the color-wave approach here. Can’t wait to see more!

I always laugh when I read your blog. I don’t see how you can be expected to complete this project without some new fabric!!! Okay, I just a little devil!

All the best for this quilt top. I don’t have a design wall so can never lay it out like you do. Maybe one day!

What a fun quilt top! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck with your project. (And thanks for the lovely words!)

It looks like it would be a good size even without borders, so I wouldn’t worry too much. =) The layout looks very Easter Eggy – spring, rabbits, etc. Maybe you can quilt (or Sue can!) a few rabbits and chicks into the mix.

I’m usually a randomizer as well, but I’m really enjoying the colour waves in this quilt and in some others I’ve seen. A nice fresh start is a good thing.

Empty design walls are no fun at all! But it looks like you have solved that problem with this little gem!

  13. Oh, I like that quilt you’ve got going! Glad I’m not the only one who works on projects with fabric that may no longer be available. With all the fabric I discovered while clearing my quilting space, I have a whole new bunch of choices! Haha!

  14. I really like the layout– I may need to make myself a design wall! Good luck with your January goal!
Hope you have a great weekend!
