  1. I am purposely not singing THAT song … nope – not me! But I do love your quilt! It’ll be really nice once it’s quilted!

      Hi Gail,
It is a catchy tune – it is running through my head now but I’m not singing it. Nope, not me either. HAHA! Happy New Year! ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Sweet looking quilt! Love the red! Can’t wait to see the finished quilt! 🙂

It came out really cute! You have about 9 weeks. It will fly by! LOL

  4. Thanks. Now that song is stuck in my head…. Love the quilt.

Sweet quilt! In answer to your question do you have trouble parting with fabric you love–oh yes, all the time and even with fabric that I don’t love. My stash theme is that I haven’t bought a fabric that I didn’t love. And I do have a stash of heart fabric too. Have fun partying and singing Love Shack!

      Hi Rose,
You make a very good point! I don’t buy fabrics that I don’t like or love . . . I have to keep that in mind – that’s why I buy it! Fortunately the radio is sharing some other songs right now, so I can get that addictive song out of my head. ~smile~ Roseanne

I thought you were going to sew it with some black like in the first picture, so I was surprised to see it in just red and white. But it was a nice surprise!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Shannon,
The black in the first picture is actually my kitchen island peeking through! That’s what we use to audition quilt pieces so we can move them around easily. Every time we walk past something gets moved, and sometimes visitors get involved too. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. I love your ‘love shack’ quilt. It will be so pretty with the joined hearts. Maybe it will be ready in time for Valentine Day.

  8. A simple design that lets the fabric shine, nothing wrong with that!

      Hi Vicki,
Unfortunately it has not progressed any further than the quilt top. It’s not even layered! Maybe that may change this weekend, but that looks rather doubtful since we have three parties to go to. I love this time of year but it’s not so great for sewing. ~smile~ Roseanne
