  2. Just had to see this one again!!! I downloaded the block pattern – So very neat! I do see one in my future when I get tired of thinking too hard!!!! LOL

  3. Congrats on your finish. Love the bandanna fabric. You are inspiring me to take out my blue bandana chevron UFO and finish it.

  4. Hello Roseanne and Sue, This quilt is definitely a two thumbs up winner! I especially like the variety of sashing sizes you used. By doing that, it did indeed balance the fabrics superbly and it also makes it unique. We have been with out the internet for the past 3 days, due to a snow storm. I just about finished organizing an overflowing plastic tote with scrap fabrics into a very nicely organized system. I can see my very own Make Mine A Double Quilt Top out of several varieties of newly discovered treasures. Thank you so much for sharing all of your fun and fabulous quilting adventures with us! Have a great day!

  5. I love this block pattern! Love your quilt!

Roseanne! I love how you chose to make your one block bigger and not sew like fabric to like fabric!!! The quilt is looking great! And the bandana fabric – perfect!

PS … wordpress is not letting me “like” your post … just want you to know that I do LIKE it! 🙂

It’s turned out gorgeous and well done on finishing despite the hiccup of needing more fabric. I look forward to your quilting of it.

Wonderful job on your quilt top. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your project.

  15. Great finish in your dotty month! Bandana prints are so cute and it was a perfect choice for this pattern. Congrats on a finish! Now will you teach me how to “FINISH”!! I have starts all over the place and not very many finishes!

  16. I love the way this turned out. The sashing is just rght and the decision to use both colors in it is so much fun. You will find a terrific back. I like that it is gender neutral – so are you looking for a gender neutral back? Or patriotic for the 4th of July baby? Just wondering your thoughts on that. Happy WDay!

This is a great quilt. I didn’t even know they were from bandanas. The quilt is lovely and looks like a cozy vintage design. As a mom of 2 sets of twins, I love the double stars hugging one another!!

It is a wonderful top! I knew you would get it done. Great job.

  23. What I like best is how the bandana fabric doesn’t make the baby quilt feel stereotypically ‘country or cowboy or campy’ It is just a unique addition to the overall effect – The Dotted Swiss is the same type of thing only in a more ‘girlie, frou-frou’ way…perhaps they balance each other to where one gets to appreciate them as fabrics in a quilt rather than getting mentally caught up in their ‘stereotypes’.
    Great job!

  24. Yay! You did it! It is a really fun pattern and the quilt is really nice! Love those dots!

  25. Now THAT my friend is quite the sparkling quilt. I may just have been given a squirrel…

  26. How cute did this quilt top turn out! You made a great choice to include the bandana sashing. Is this quilt going to be sold in your Etsy shop?

  27. Congrats on your finish. Your piecing is so neat and crisp. xx
