  1. I’ve started one. Can you believe it?? I finally made a decision and started one! Soon I’ll have pictures, if it turns out.

      Hi Wendy,
Well, that is just great both on the decision and starting! I can’t wait to see what drew you in. ~smile~ Roseanne

I love Rose’s version – it seems so different from the original! It looks to be a widly successful QAL – well done!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Sue,
Thank you for your kind words but I really didn’t do anything! The pattern and Daniela’s quilt sold it for everyone. I just shared it at a time when people were open and receptive to a new project. I agree – Rose’s concept is beautiful and different yet similar to the original! ~smile~ Roseanne

Hummmmm…..ideas are percolating. I love seeing what others have done. I got swamped with other things and haven’t cut into my jellyroll yet…though I did choose the one I want to use, lol. Does that count as a start?

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Nita,
It sure does count as a start! The hardest part is selecting the fabric(s) that spark your interest. ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. I love them all. Looking forward to seeing Carol’s Silent Film roll used also. I didn’t even thing of that color theme. I never think outside the box until I see others.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Peggy,
You are given a pass . . . you haven’t been feeling well in months! Besides, the original quilt is SO great . . . why reinvent the wheel?! That’s my story and I’m sticking with it. ~smile~ Roseanne

  5. Busy Hands Quilts says:

It’s great to progress at our own speed. I have 1/2 of the strips assembled into the top. I am also being a rebel and changing the pattern up a bit and increasing it to twin size.

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Myra!
Twin size is a great idea! One can only use so many throws . . . or is that even possible? Too many quilted throws?? Nope! But this will look SO fabulous on a bed. Can’t wait to see! ~smile~ Roseanne

  6. Shannon Fleming says:

I love how there is so much variety in one pattern!

    • Roseanne says:

      Hi Shannon!
I agree – it is so darn fun to check out each person’s vision for the same pattern. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. They all look so amazing! So many different color combinations. Just shows you how creative they all are. Mine is stitched together and ready for quilting. I will share a post very soon. Thanks for hosting! 🙂

  8. Roseanne says:

    Hi Cherie,
Of course you may join us!! The more the merrier. The hard part (for you) will be to decide on a colorway now that you’ve seen so many possibilities! I’ll add your name to the last update so that I am sure to include you on the next one. ~smile~ Roseanne

[…] I’ve been envying my friends (Roseanne and Peggy) who are hosting the Regatta QAL.  I wonder if they’d let me join late, once I was able to find the fabric that tickles me.  I’ve been keeping an eye out for some.  I’ve liked the one’s in the blues, greens and pastels shown on the blog. […]
