To-Do #52 Weekly Update – One Year!
This is our 52nd edition of our weekly to-do list. That means we’ve been doing the to-do lists for a year, and I think it has helped immensely. We share this post on Beth’s Cooking Up Quilts website on Monday, and Tuesday’s linky party can be found on Christine’s Stitch All the Things website. ~smile~
To-Do for the week April 2nd through April 8th:
- Nothing planned so it’s complete! – √ done
Apparently we are not the only people in a mini slump of quilting sorts. We gave ourselves nothing to do for the week and we nailed it – we did nothing. It is sad and pathetic to say on our one year anniversary for these to-do lists! Sue was on Spring Break all week and did some hand quilting on the Bubbles baby quilt.
We did not set foot in the sewing room until Sunday, the 8th. We were still dabbling! Sue played around with the t-shirt layout yet again – seriously! She also sorted and counted the strips (again) for the two 16-patch framed 4-patch quilts. And she played around with the I Spy fabrics! I actually got half of our April OMG project quilted, as well as our May blog hop project started. Our focus may be returning. Maybe.
April OMG Goal:
Our Elm Street Quilts April OMG goal is to quilt and bind the second animal panel quilt. This is also on our PHD list of UFOs.
To-Do April 9th through 15th:
- Order fabric for new Mystery QAL
- Sew strips together for 16-patch quilt
- Sew borders on one GK table runner
- Quilt another quarter of the Animal panel quilt
We wish you a week filled with many blessings and good sewing/quilting vibes!
Our other Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link or along the sidebar on our website for more quilting fun – check out what our friends are up to. Like/follow us on our Facebook page and you can share your photos of what you’re working on. We would love to see them!
