To-Do Tuesday Edition #9
Our ninth to-do edition – these keep me on track and perhaps more focused. It was the last week of school for our students, so I gave us a rather light load for the week. I will be repeating that light load for next week, too.
To-Do Tuesday for the week June 6th – June 12th:
- Baby Fox wall hanging √ finished
- Sew tutorial baby quilt – worked on
A good friend of ours is expecting their third baby boy in just two weeks. All along she has been calling him Baby Fox, so this wall hanging is made especially for him. We found the pattern while on a road trip to Woodland Quilts in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The pattern is Fancy Fox II. The new baby has two older brothers, Forrest and Franklin. I am pretty darn sure that this next baby’s name will start with an “F” too!
We have started a new baby quilt, and we are going to write a tutorial about our process. We make a pattern called Lemon Meringue from a book called P.S. I Love You. I shared the fabric with you in our last to-do edition, but here is a reminder:
This will be machine quilted by me, of that I’m sure. Perhaps small spirals in the 4.5″ solid yellow blocks and stitch-in-the-ditch for the nine-patch blocks.
We snuck a little wall hanging in for Sue’s coworker too – more about this later this week:
To-Do Tuesday starting June 13th:
- Shop our way across Wisconsin, Minnesota and South Dakota
- Enjoy the awesomeness of Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills
- Find a special Father’s Day present
- Work on the tutorial baby quilt
I’ll give you an update on these projects next Tuesday, June 20th. Our Linky Parties can be found by clicking the link for more quilting fun. Check out what our friends are up to! Like and follow us on our Facebook page!
