To-Do Tuesday Linky #12 & Weekly Progress Update
Join us for the 12th linky party post and the 132nd edition of the weekly to-do list. Thanks to everyone who linked up with us last week.
To-Do for the week of October 22nd through 28th:
- Continue pattern testing – √ done
- Enjoy a work conference – √ done
- Start thinking about a Virtual Cookie project – √ done
Saturday started off fabulously with the littles visiting for a couple of hours. They fill our lives with such joy. Once they left we rode that high right on into the sewing room. Pattern testing blocks were the main agenda for the day. Did I mention before that we love this pattern and these fabrics? I may have (!!) and certainly, you can see why?!
Peggy Cooper, if you are reading this, this star is for you. You got me hooked on stars, my friend! ♥
I really did enjoy my time away in the Wisconsin Dells. Although I no longer work in Wisconsin, it was nice to attend this software state-specific conference because I was able to see a bunch of friends from when I did work in the state. I took away so much valuable information that I was able to share once I returned to work. Tomorrow I’ll share the non-conference-related fun I had! There was a free shuttle – I ‘had’ to go give it a try, right?!
Oh geez, what should we make for the Virtual Cookie exchange??!! I want to give away a free pattern for a door hanging or something. Also needed is a spiffy quilt top . . . kind of like the quilt blocks that have been magically arriving at our house lately. Hmmm. Is it possible that one portion of this blog hop has fallen together all on its own? A Christmas quilt that’s almost being handed to us? Could it be? Yes! One-half of our Virtual Cookie exchange requirements have been met. Oh yeah, and I need a special recipe or two to share.
In case you’ve missed the earlier posts about this fabulous quilt-to-be, here are all the dets on the Ripples block, including where to find the tutorial.
Thanks to Patty’s Elm Street Quilts website and her linky party we finished a beautiful day pack for my boss, Catherine. Officially finished well before the end-of-the-month deadline, I was happy to link up last Friday in position #3. Woot woot! That’s my lucky number. <wink> Maybe I’ll win one of Patty’s fabulous vendor prizes.
To-Do for the week of October 29th through November 4th
The final three days of October – OMG – where has this month gone?
- Finish the pattern testing – the deadline for a quilt top is 11/4
